V/A - Mad Trax II (Beyond Metal Zone) 1987

At the end of July a little compilation for my metal friends out there and this is the Yugoslav publication by PGP RTB (Produkcija Gramofonskih Ploča Radio Televizije Beograd) and this version has entirely different tracks than the UK double vinyl edition. Renowned American metal bands that made their first albums at this time are gathered here, plus a British combo whose album I once had, and we enjoy trash metal at its best. I have to say, I can still identify with this music, after all, this sound was an elixir of life for me in the mid-eighties and even if some bands get on my nerves nowadays, I'm sometimes not averse to devoting a little time to the trashers. And on this little record are exactly the ones, which reflect this perfect. That brings memories, I can tell you, Kutte an and off to every concert, of which there were more than enough back then and getting old is such a fucking shit!

1.Unstoppable Force - AGENT STEEL
2.Creeping Death - METALLICA
3.A Lesson In Violence - EXODUS
4.Break Down The Walls - EXCITER
5.Rattlehead - MEGADEATH
6.Metal Forces - ONSLAUGHT
7.March To Die - POSSESSED
8.Brain Death - NUCLEAR ASSAULT

THE PIN-UPS - Take One 1981

Ahhhhhh, so pleasant to have a day off and the weekend already started with five Weizenbier, I am now delighting you with a combo, probably from Copenhagen, with their only album which came out via Harlekin Records. We're talking about the Pin-Ups and they were Katrine (vocals), Kim (vocals/guitars), Carsten (bass/lead guitar), Niels (drums/keys). The band debuted at Saltlageret in September 1980, where they played a warm-up for the Warm Guns. They were also guets on the Generational event JETZT!! gig '80 in Huset in Magstræde and a selection of concerts in Rockmaskinen, including along with No Knox and Before. The band's last performance was on October 26, 1983 for a concert in the Radio House, which was recorded and broadcast on DR P3 in November 1983 (which I unfortunately don't have). But Oh, I can promise you, this is top material, a healthy mix of new wave and punk, with female vocals and great mid-tempo goodies, completely unknown to me until now and grateful to rediscover them and I know, you fuckers will like the album.

- Great Thx to Nolti -

SINIESTRO TOTAL - Siniestro Total II (El Regreso) 1983

Second album by Siniestro Total from Vigo, recorded in October 1983 and released via DRO in November of that same year. Twenty-one mostly punk-heavy songs, with more versatility of the instruments which provide a lot more variety, and with the typical short show interludes the four keep the level consistently high and that you are welcome is shown by the sympathetic guy, Bob Hope, on the front cover, who greets you with a glass of milk. As with the first album, they still went from seriote politicking full of clichés and demagogies and were covered with grace, silly humor and Ramonian influence in parody and social satire. There is nothing wrong with the album, the music is crisp, the artwork is worth seeing, and twenty-one songs in good thirty-five minutes are promising. I think the weekend can start with that and what comes next will definitely keep the level in this theater or do you doubt it?

THE NEGATIVES - The Bradford EP 2016

The Negatives formed in Bradford in summer 1978 by Dave Wilcox R.I.P. (vocals), Pete Stobbs (guitar), Bob Robinson (bass) and Tino Palmer (drums). They had a very strong local following, the highlight of which was 1000 local fans turning up at their final gig at Bradford University Great Hall in December 1979 after which the band split up. The Negatives had released a 1979 single ‘Stakeout’/Love is Not Real’ on Look Records which sold out of all the 1000 copies pressed and was played on Radio 1 by John Peel. The band whilst perhaps missing out on the big time first time round, gained wider appreciation in the longer term and were both amazed and humbled to be included in John Peel’s treasured box of 140 special records along with only four other punk/new wave bands. The Negatives are and always will be very proud of their home town a multicultural city with rich diversity. Bradford is famous for its arts being the birthplace of renowned artist and the song is dedicated to all the Bradford Punks of 1979 but also to anyone who is still proud to call Bradford their home town. (Robin Banks) - This nice EP was released by Paramecium Records in an edition of 500 copies and offers four unpolished superb stompers and they very popular on the Bored Teenagers compilations.

SAIGON - Reunion 1984

Saigon is a trio mid 80's Goth/Post Punk combo from Leamington Spa and the band consisted of David (vocals/bass), Simon (guitars), Jez (drums). They released a single and this album before they broke up in the mid 80s. Unfortunately they had the bad luck to sign a deal with Egoldt's sub-label First Floor Records where he obviously expected big incomings from, but when he realized that he could make more money with southpaw music he stamped the label, the bands were ignored and the doors were closed. It's a shame because some good bands have released their records there and nobody speaks a word about them these days and sometimes you get their slab at the rummaging table price which is not bad either. Saigon have real talent and celebrate ten fantastic melodic Death/Goth/Post/Punk numbers with depth and atmosphere, a real strong record. A small footnote, track 3, the title track is unfortunately missing, no idea why someone has it ready and sends it to me.

D.N.A. - Retrospective 2018

I remember, that the Swedish combo D.N.A. was long on the Wanted list, many years ago, and the response has been astonishingly high. This is proven by the functional link to their first EP A Trip To The Land Of The Dead.... And Backfrom 1985. Black Konflik Records, a malay label, released this limited compilation with a red Obi strip gatefold CD in 2018, 500 copies, with more recordings of this wild and versatile band from Skövde. Unfortunately with no infos about the recordings (except who was playing), but I guess they were all made around the mid-eighties. But apparently all of the band's remaining songs are immortalized here, including those of their two EPs plus two live goodies. The quality is not the best, but enough for a purchase in your city or in the trainMega interesting in any case and very difficult to get. It’s good that these classics can see the light of day after so many years. Despite the rough edges and shit-fi quality, the anger in those releases is unconquerable. Real punk blast from the past. A solid retrospective of an era that marked the birth of the raw punk and d-beat genre.

MANIACS - Bootlegged At The Bootleg 1988

Already regulars on wdthtc and I always like to post a record of the four. and they are worth searching for. Hessian punx Maniacs recorded their live album 1988 at the legendary "Bootleg" Club in Augsburg, which unfortunately had to close after three years due to massive problems with local residents. Released via Rise & Fall Productions and the four shoot out thirteen powerful, but never dull, hardcore bullets with a political statement and the British influence is clearly audibly. In addition, the fantastic recording quality make this album an enjoyable experience. The song selection is also impressive, as you can read below, and guarantees energetic positive vibrations.

Salute The Survivors/(Funeral Of The) Glory Men/Chainsaw Blues/Weltkrieg/Hardcore Punk/Addicted To The Night/Conscientious Objector/Gimme The Bullet/Deutschland/Danger Eyes/Violence/Traveller In Time/New Morning

V/A - Danach Und Stunden Später 1987

OK Leute, today two records by request and first of these is a collection extreme by the Hamburg label Triton and connoisseurs among you know this is the label of the great HH combo Razzia and after their famous debut album they have already taken other paths, written innovative complex songs away from the HeyHoLet'sGo Punk sound, with keyboards and corresponding length and thus set a new direction with which they raised questions but showed what is musically possible, without losing hardness. This compilation is an excellent example of it, four bands who express themselves lyrically very personally and make this clear in their songs and certainly they don't meet the hardcore taste that we love, no; it's different and is that meant with extreme! Eleven lullabies that confuse, disturb and speak to everyone. Two of the four only on here, unfortunately, as they all have the potential for more. Sexy!

1.Der See - FEUER & HANSEKRACH
2.Mensch In Ketten - FEUER & HANSEKRACH
3.Der Arbeiter - FEUER & HANSEKRACH
4.You're My Love - FAITH HEALER
5.March - FAITH HEALER
6.Endstation Alsterdorf - RAZZIA
7.Neuer Fisch - RAZZIA
8.Außer Betrieb - RAZZIA
9.Last Scenery - DORIC TACET
10.Come Inside - DORIC TACET
11.Prophecy - DORIC TACET

MARCHING PLAGUE - Rock & Roll Asshole EP 1983

The next combo were formed 1983 in San Antonio/Texas and consisted of Keith (vocals), Adam (guitar), Flynn (bass), Brad (drums) and their only single was released by CIA Records and was recorded live in mid 1982 on the "Jamaican Tour" and in late 1982 @ Bob O'Neill Sound Studio (B.O.S.S.), five brilliant and refreshing speedy punkies without compromise which are already done after five minutes, just right for a pleasant shit. Hardly to be found on compis, apparently too offensive, egal; Kick Ass Slamming Stuff, you will love it!

COMRADE - What About The Children EP 1995

I was able to experience the next band live sometime in the early nineties, but I really don't know exactly when and where, what is for sure; I bought their demo back then and posted it in my carefree days on wilddevilrules. But to the slab, their only EP is finally ready and I promise you refreshingly hearty streetpunk from a very nice combo. A few facts: Comrade was an anti-fascist/anti-racist Oi! band from Antwerp, with Klaas (vocals), Joost (guitar), Bib (bass), Joris (drums) & Marc (harmonica). They were around from the late 80s to half-way the 90s and did a demo (1990) & a EP on Mad Butcher Records. As far as official, now a few words from Klaas himself, which I like to quote and found on Brob Tilt's Tapes blog as decent source, there you can also find a famous live recording from 1988:

"The band originated in 1986 during a Conflict concert in Antwerp. We could do better than what we saw on stage, we thought. We were skins who wanted to play Oi!. That gave a bad after-taste in the Antwerp punk-scene. We were going to show that those kind of prejudices were bullshit. The politically correct thinking was damping freedom, also back then. People wanted to put us in a corner; for the Antwerp punk-scene skinheads were nazis and racists. ‘Comrade’ wanted to show that skinheads had nothing to do with fascism. We were never a political band but only because of our militant anti-racism (words & action), we were easily labeled as leftist. Our name did(n’t) help to that matter, for sure, haha. We played until 1992 all over Europe. Because of our self-willed choices we didn’t really fit in a certain current, group or movement. We’ve always chosen our own path. We never forgot our roots: Skinhead & Oi!. Nostalgia isn’t our thing but we will show the newer generation what us oldies still have to say and do what they think. In 2021 we’ll be on stage a couple of times, playing festivals in Germany. Our first mini-LP will also be released, together with a compilation of demos and live recordings." (Klaas)

Now you are reasonably informed and let's see if I can still find the demo somewhere in the wide spheres of my digital music world, because there are six songs on it. Enjoy!

V/A - Punk Territory Vol.2 - G.B. 1979-82 [1994]

Punk Territory second round and this long-out-of-print bootleg is dedicated to early 80's UK punk and "is catchy as hell; it has sing-a-long choruses and hooky riffs" (F. Havoc). Including well-known classics as well as rarities. You can find some singles of the combos in the blog and each one a real little pearl, the originals of which were definitely published in very small editions, actually as always. For me a very successful selection and absolutely interesting for every newcomer and old hand, I think. Otherwise, today was rather modest and I'm glad it's over. You can't imagine how exhausting and stupid some two-legged people are, but that's another story. Weekend, Sun and Music... NOW!

1.Death's A Career - DRONGOS FOR EUROPE
2.No Hope For Anyone - DEAD WRETCHED
3.Vendetta - THE SAMPLES
4.Pseudo Existence - PSEUDO EXISTORS
5.Coming Up For Air - PSEUDO EXISTORS
6.Singing In The Showers - FUN 4
7.Elevator Crash - FUN 4
8.By-Products - FUN 4
9.Someone Else's War - DEFIANT POSE

THIS PERFECT DAY - Balcony Love 7'' 1990

It gets a bit poppier and quieter now, but no means boring, with the following unique sound and style. We're talkin' about This Perfect Day, a Swedish guitar-pop combo, formed 1987 in the northern town of Skelleftea and consisted of Mats (vocals), Rickard & Ove (guitars), Peter (bass), Johan (drums) and Ralph (drums 86-94). Useful infos: "The band pitched their first recordings on cassette to the local record company A West Side Fabrication with whom they were initially signed and released their first singles on vinyl and cassette. Following a gig at the Hultsfred Festival in 1991, the band moved to Soap Records and shortly afterwards their debut 'Rubber Soul' appeared and with this they quickly established themselves as part of the Swedish alternative guitar-pop scene. They toured extensively in Europe, Asia and N America up until 1998 during which their label had planned a compilation. This, however, ran into problems when MNW went through a turbulent phase and subsequently postponed the project. The band were ultimately victims of inner turmoil and disbanded after the Hultsfred Festival in 1998. 'Setting Things Straight' is a double CD, thirty-three track compilation, released in 2007 and gives the listener a broad and valuable insight into TPD's musical achievements."

LASCIVIOUS - Requiem To Che Guevara EP 1986

Lascivious was a punk band with a slight metal edge from Morioka and this is their only output on Akiraxtoy. Released as flexi in a red translucent design and certainly in small editions. Members were Hirosi (vocals), 霧  (guitars), Yuzuru (bass), Oshow (drums). Well, I'm not very familiar with Nippon bands and I can't even say much about Lascivious either, but the four songs are consistently impressive and really melodic. No unorthodox tempi changes or something like that, maybe the tough ones among you are a little disappointed, but be open to new things. The vocals are also largely audible & understandable and the classic raw punk mix influenced by the metallic side makes the whole thing something special. No compilation appearances.

THE BRAINIACS - Untitled EP 1979

Four piece from Los Angeles with their yellow debut EP on Mental Health Records and the Brainiacs were Wayzata (vocals & guitar), Scot (guitar & bass), John (bass & guitar), John (drums) and they released in their short lifespan two decent 7Inches and already at the beginning of the Eighties they separated. Not much to report from the guys, except that they belt out four catchy, entertaining songs, and their second single is also a little musical highlight (listen). Less represented on compilations, mostly on unofficial ones, one of them the world-famous Killed By Death #15½ record which is available in yellow vinyl as well. Ferddisch!

GG ALLIN - Dirty Love Songs 1987

I'm very tired but one still goes: GG Allin was a musician and songwriter who performed and recorded with many groups during his career and I think many undiscovered recordings are left and this compilation from Fan Club, established by New Rose Records for the purpose of re-releasing material that is rare, out of print, or of "historical" interest, demonstrates a small collection of them. He is best remembered for his live performances that featured transgressive acts such as onstage defecation and copraphagia, committing self harm, and other violent actions toward the audience. He recorded prolifically, not only in the Punk genre, but also Spoken Word, Country, and Stones-influenced rock. Allin's music was often poorly recorded and produced, given limited distribution, and met with mostly negative reviews from critics, although he maintained a cult following throughout and after his career. Allin promised for several years that he would commit suicide on stage during one of his concerts, but instead died from an accidental drug overdose on June 28, 1993, at the age of thirty-sixSee for yourself whether you like it or not.

THE MEDIA - Bright New Future 2020

Return of The Media: From Polaroids to Instagram, from vinyl singles to SoundCloud, from printing presses to the internet - a lot has changed with our media in the past fourty years. But, late 1970s Portsmouth band The Media are hoping that some things don't change; that a great tune is a great tune and that a band with an enviable live reputation still have the chops. Love Child Records certainly think The Media still have it!

In 2019 we set about tracking the band down and launched a double A-side 7" single Jump Down/How Could You Lie in April that year. Now, after some fantastic mastering work by North London Bombing, Love Child can finally release a whole album!! The Media were a Portsmouth band formed in 1978, influenced by the UK punk explosion of 1977 and consisted of Martin Jacks (vocals), Brian Lee (drums), Pete Rossie (guitar) and Michael 'Chello' Whichello (bass). In a short space of time back in the days of the punk rock explosion (and everything moved very quickly in the late 1970s) The Media played loads of shows, honed their 60s beat meets 70s street/seminal suburban songs, got a bit good, built a large following, released two singles and by 1980 were featured in an early Phil Redmond (the producer of Grange Hill, Brookside, Hollyoaks, etc.) youth TV series Going Out. What could possibly go wrong? Their debut No Darling I Love The Media EP appeared in 1978 on their own Tearaway Records (Cherry Red Records distributed it). It featured live favourites T.V. Kids, Don't Sit Back, Getting High and Rose and Crown. It was a bit good and sold out. A second single, Southcoast City Rockers came out the following year on the Portsmouth collective Brain Booster Records, again it sold out. A video was shot for Southcoast City Rockers, heady stuff at a time when very few bands recorded videos. The single showed the band moving on musically, taking in elements of the UK's emerging Ska scene (led by The Specials' Two Tone label) and the Mod revival inspired by The Jam (they secured support slots with The Vapors and Secret Affair). On the back of the money they were paid for the Going Out TV series (The Media's scene featured a packed gig, with a young Peter-Hugo Daly careering around causing mayhem) the band went in the studio with the aim of recording songs for an album, nine songs were completed.

But, trouble at one of their support slots (lets be honest, there was loads of bother at shows in the late 1970s/early 1980s) led to the cancellation of a series of gigs, including a prominent London show, and the band split in 1981. Fast forward thirty-seven years and the master tapes from that album session were found by a band member in their loft.

On the advice of Acid Attack's Dave Clarke the tape is sent to Paul Orwell at Love Child Records, who in turn played it to Adam Cooper of parent company Heavy Soul Records, both of these uber music fans gave it a massive thumbs up. Love Child Records set about restoring the nine track tapes and transferring them to files. Talk immediately turned to releasing a single and album... and then a possible reunion show. The first 7" vinyl single from this session, Jump Down/How Could You Lie, was released in April 2019, fourty years after release of first Media EP! Bright New Future is available in 100 copies yellow vinyl, 150 copies black vinyl, so better be quick!

THE DICKIES - Dawn Of The Dickies 1979

Second album by the Dickies from Los Angeles and I don't have to tell much about the band. They always delight me with their extravagant covers of well-known classics, Paranoid for example, and consistently balanced catchy melodies, harmony vocals, and pop song structures, with speedy punk guitar attacks. A little info: Inspired by the first wave of punk coming out of New York & London, the band were formed 1977 in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles by Leonard (vocals), Stan & Chuck (guitars), Billy (bass), Karlos (drums)They started playing around the burgeoning L.A. punk scene within a few weeks of forming, and quickly earned a following with their zany live show, which featured outlandish costumes, puppets, and a midget roadie... They're still active, ten albums have been released to date, including some live records, and they are the longstanding veterans of the LA scene.

P-NISSARNA - En Sanitär Olägenhet 2019

Likbas was released by the same label Ken-Rock (specializes in old swedish punk classics like Slyngel Rekords) as the following album by P-Nissarna and that is for sure a collector's edition in my opinion, because in 2004 came (only as CD) a compilation called Flumpungar via Swedish Punk Classics out and the songs partly overlap. This dittie was pressed in 500 copies on yellow, red and black vinyl (yellow 100, red 200, black 200) and you can discover tracks from the Jugend EP ('79), unreleased 1981 recordings, 1982 recordings which were later released by Really Fast Records as Världskrig III and four goodies from the Kalla Den Va Fan Du Vill compilation, released 2007 on CD via Ztar Records. Quick Info: P-Nissarna were one of the youngest bands with a real cult status from Falun. They were active in the years 1978 - 1982 and their lyrics were considered provocative at the time, and they still kick into many stupid pale moonfaces.

TEMPO - Beat Beat Beat 10'' 1979

Founded 1978 in Berlin and Tempo were Dave (vocals), Peter & Marius (guitars), Mick (bass), B.O.D.O. (drums), Bobby (sax) and this is their debut which was released on their own label Tempo Records in an edition of 1000 copies. Two catchy songs on the a-side and two poppy (too much for my taste) on the flip. This was followed by three more singles plus an album and around 1982 it was over. Musically they move between scruffy melodic punkrock and unfortunately sometimes lame pop or new wave pieces. If you want to know how the gentlemen sound live, I recommend a visit to tapeattack, where a decent recording from May 1980 at the Berlin Rock Zirkus waits. They are also represented on numerous compilations and for all interested, I recommend the essential, strictly limited (555 copies: 250 on clear, 305 on black vinyl) release via weird system "Sie Verlassen Den Amerikanischen Sektor 1978-1982: Die Kleine Geschichte Einer Kleinen Band Zwischen Punk Und Pop" which came as double LP with all recordings plus rare demos and live material, nowadays not at a bargain price.

ME 110-D - s/t EP 1982

Rare five track EP on Soilant by this Swiss piece: ME 110-D from Uster and the band consisted of Alex (vocals), Thommen (guitars), Jenni (bass), Häse (drums). Not much info about the boys is documented, only some sources say their band name stands for the Messerschmitt Bf 110 D series, other mean it stands for Melody (I think, the first makes more sense). Anyway, fact is this record is a damn good punk record and the first pressing (also known as Bullenlied EP) came in a double picture sleeve and only a few copies exist and getting one of this blue mauritius is like finding the holy grail. I guess the second edition is just as rare and possibly 500 copies were pressed. Well, the rarity collectors among you probably know it better. I am surprised that they are not featured on any of the relevant compilations, and you know which one I mean. Nun, that makes the four even more interesting and maybe some Nick Knatterton will changed this in the near future, right?

DECIBEL - Punk 1978

Let's get to the resolution of my little EM prediction game and I'll make it short: Italy is European Football Champion 2020, for the second time and not undeserved in my opinion; And I'm the winner of our small tipp community. That means, at some point there will be another self-made compilation which you can enjoy or not. I'm not going to ask you which songs should be on it, your feedback is just too lame and I don't feel like it. - What's up for today? Decibel from Milan is comin' up with their debut album on Spaghetti Records and were formed 1977 by Enrico (vocals), Pino (guitar), Enrico (bass), Roberto (drums). Eight decent rockin' numbers can be found here, not groundbreaking but move any fat lame ass I think. Unjustly, Punk was a critical and sales failure: the critics ditched it as a commercial crafty. The fans, on the other hand, didn't find the record in the shops, a problem that would later characterize the band's “Made In Rome” distribution. Perhaps it consoles the fact that the record is now an unobtainable cult object for collectors. After that their music oriented more into New Wave, two more albums followed and at some point the band split. Decibel reformed in 2016 and released their fourth album, Noblesse Oblige, with new material after almost twenty years. In 2018 they returned to the Sanremo 2018 Music Festival with the song "Lettera Dal Duca".

EASYBEAT - Julrock 7'' 1981

A request is comin' now which was left in the post from Easybeat's first EP Don't You Know weeks ago, briefly on the wanted list and now readyIn addition to this terrific record, they made two more before they spilt and both are in this file. Julrock is a short Christmas mid-tempo piece and the flip is about summer and all its advantages; driving, powerful, rousing, just like the season itself. Om Du Gör Mig Lycklig came then in 1986 and and with one more instrument and the slab sounds very poppy with its keyboards and both with significantly longer playing time. Rock back and forth to the rhythm of the music with your arms hooked under and give your girl a kiss. Hardly represented on compilations, so you have to do it yourself.

ULSTER - M-19 EP 1995

Rough, aggressive and absolutely true, Ulster lived for two years rehearsing and playing in São Paulo's most obscure ghettos. They left the shadow of anarchy wherever they passed, with extremely fast and distorted music along with a unique look. Some facts from the long unfortunately deactivated KFTH archive: "In 1979, São Paulo's ABC region was Brazil's largest industrial complex, employing thousands of metallurgists. At the same time, there appeared the first signs of a huge social crisis that would shake the structure of the country. The Brazilian Detroit produced not only strikes and unemployment, but also insurrection in several cultural fields - specifically in the music scene which drew its inspiration from the European and American punk movement. The first crop of punk bands had no technological resources, only their dissatisfied scream. Ulster were one of these first bands to give back to the system its own aggression with visual and sonic violence.

In the end of 1979, in the industrial shed of São Bernardo do Campo, Ulster was born, with Betão (drums), Vladi (bass), Luiz (also in Brigada do Ódio and Olho Seco) on guitar and Mauro (vocals). The sound was fast and noisy, energetic and compelling, with direct influences of early '80s punk, such as Discharge, Disorder, etc. The name was inspired by the terrorists of the IRA (Irish Republican Army), who fought battles in the streets of Ulster, Ireland. As a result, the lyrics they wrote were quite provocative and many of them dealt with acts of terrorism, such as the songs "M-19," "Bandeiras Vermelhas" ("Red Flags"), "Morte Aos Velhos," etc."This EP has five songs from their 1982 demo and they don't show sound quality, they show rebellion in its more pure and real state.

V/A - Raw & Rare British Punk #4 1998

Today we close another little interesting series with Volume 4, the whole thing is called Raw And Rare British Punk and released as Bootleg, of course I think, via a label called A-Trax Records. The detectives prove not a bad taste and dug out rare treasures from the UK underground life, and I walk on, the pleasant weather warms my mind and pushes me forward, internally already focused on tomorrow's final of the EM 2020, which was a lot of joy (although England was extremely lucky with the blind referee, but that's the way it is). It's really amazing how quickly four weeks go by. You see, life is way too short for any shitty phases you shouldn't nibble on for too long. Howsoever, I'm talking too much bla bla... the series is over, all volumes in the blog, enjoy the sixteen classics & weekend and do something useful.

DER STAB - Tracers 7'' 2016

And another re-release and with this bright sunlight I ring in the weekend. Here too, some infos from the supplement: "A little about der Stab, the recording lineup was Keith (vocals), Rikk (guitars), Frank (bass), Randy (drums). So after the death of recording Engineer Chaz Ramirez, the tape were lost and appeared for the first time on the essential Killed By Death #13 record. The band played lots of venues and several gigs in the Orange and LA county areas. After the split of der Stab the members continued their musical creativity in other bands (Christian Death, Primal Danse, Mirror Image)." This 7Inch was released via Elective Affinities/Negative Jazz in an edition of 600 copies. Two rampant lost nuggets!
