RAW POWER - After Your Brain 1986

The following band is one of my favorites and is always a pleasure to listen to: Raw Power. Formed 1981 in Poviglio by brothers Mauro (vocals) & Giuseppe (guitar). Through the years the band has lived through several line-up changes and the two brothers were the only stable members until Giuseppe’s death in 2002. After Your Brain is, I think, the third album which came again via the California based label Toxic Shock into the record stores and is a bit more "discreetly" than its predecessor. Tim Yohannan reviewed perfectly in MRR #38 • July 1986: "Pretty straightforward thrash as well as some Punk tunes. Lacks the overall insanity of some of their best material, but there’s plenty of hot stuff here and a lot more variety than usual." These words correspond to my impressions and with "We Shall Overcome" they recorded one of my favorite songs. Thirteen decent smashers, not so furious but still kicking ass. Essential and deserves the Italian Hardcore seal!

FORD'S FUZZ INFERNO - The Book Of Fuzz (Selected Verses Part 1) 2022

It's fuzz time again and you know which band is known for that?.... That's right: Ford's Fuzz Inferno from Kekerdom and the last two years they released three splendid EP's and this little compilation is made for those who prefer a little round silvery packaging, and an unreleased song is added to the three singles and in total we have eleven songs which achieved maximum results with only drums, guitar and reverberant vocals, very classy. Hans & Patrick do a first class job and are by far the best duo I know and their wild and unbridled sound is pretty damn appealing and makes me think of old times as I savage to Septic Death or Raw Power etc... Pogo danced and this feeling puts a smile and a little melancholy on my face, it's been a long time and getting old physically really sucks, and I think, you know that as well. And there's news to announce: In January 2023 their new EP Death To The Fuzz Family will be released with five more fuzzed-out Punk executions and the vinyl rip will follow as soon as I can rip again and it's my turn to change that, but at the moment I'm still a bit off the mark. Patience dear friends.. patience!

And as usual, I want to give you a short and appropriate review (and there are only positive ones, which doesn't surprise me): "Walls of garage-damaged, blasted combo amp guitars topped with sweet in-your-face croons; these chaps serve up hit after should-be hit. They don’t rely on the heaviness, but they get there because they just want to crank the shit out of those guitars, you know…to fuzz ‘em up." (Robert Collins, MRR #467 • April 2022)

And what the two say about this bloody Sucker can you read now and even if a download is available here, buy this CD and support the band because they deserve it: "Hi Boys & Girls! A while ago Mr. Hans & Mr. Patrick found out some of you don't own a record player and don't care very much for them digital download things either. But still, you do need to hear - and feel - Ford's Fuzz Inferno's crushing fuzz punk awesomeness blasting through your rooms, don't youi?!. Each and every day that is! Well, there's no need to be sad, because Mr. Hans and Mr. Patrick love you just as much as they love all their other young friends. That's why they selected 11 tracks from their first four EP's and released them on Ford's Fuzz Inferno's first CD! Especially for you! So buy that disc, enjoy the tunes, eat your vegetables, destroy the neighborhood and fuzz on!" I love FFI!

V/A - 4 Per Ⓐ//ⒶⒶ Per Tutti EP 1984

Hot compilation in red vinyl from Totò Alle Prese Coi Dischi with four Italian combos. Raw Power from Poviglio with two rough wild cuts from their demo tape (1983). Then Rivolta Dell'Odio from Ancona with a track from their La Danza Del Sangue E Del Sole cassette (1983) which, with a length of three minutes, doesn't come across as brutal, and ensures peace and quiet. The other side will be opened by Rappresaglia from Milan with two mid-tempo goodies and last but not least Pedago Party from Piacenza with two candys from their L'Arte Della Rivoluzioneare tape (1983) and they're short, snotty and with nice female vocals. - All four symbolizing that season of fury that made Italian bands famous worldwide. This excessive piece of vinyl comes with a lovingly stapled insert with lyrics and infos about the bands. A review: "Like most compilations, a little spotty. Raw Power starts off and blows away all the competition. Their sound here is sooooo much better than their first LP, as they showcase their breakneck stop-and-start sound with vocals literally spit out through your speakers. Rappresaglia & Pedago Party both go for a more popular thrash sound. The other band, Rivolta Dell'Odio, has a slower art-damaged sound." (Dogtowne, MRR #22 • February 1985) - I think it's a very good EP, varied and by no means superfluous and a decent start into the weekend.

1.Fuck Authority - RAW POWER
2.Burning The Factory - RAW POWER
3.La Danza Del Sangue - RIVOLTA DELL 'ODIO
4.U.S.A. - RAPPRESAGLIA
5.Rappresaglia - RAPPRESAGLIA
6.Lo Spazio Che Ci Resta - PEDAGO PARTY
7.Morire A Beirut - PEDAGO PARTY

DISSEKERAD / EARTH CRUST DISPLACEMENT - Split EP 2020

Hardcore to the power of two, four smasher, two per band. Released via Rawmantic Disasters in an edition of 300 copies. First, Dissekerad (members of Totalitär & Makabert Fynd), a quartet from Stockholm and consists of Poffen (vocals), Mattis (guitars), Andreé (bass), Pyri (drums) and they deliver no frills. High end classic swedish Hardcore with hypnotic riffs, lovely straight forward in your face as you need it. Earth Crust Displacement from Berlin return with two songs from the 2016 session from the well known D-Takt Noize album. Raw, brutal, noisy and lovely distorted as a Fuck in the desert while it's snowing.

A solid review: "Two tracks of whirlwind Swedish Dissekerad. The pedigree here is formidable (I’ll just mention Avskum and Totalitär, because that should be more than enough), and the goods are worthy. A classic mid-paced cruiser starts off their side, and then they open it up with “Mardömmen Startar,” a pure fist-banging rager that leaves me reaching for 2015’s Mörkret Tilltar LP for more action. Germany’s Earth Crust Displacement takes a little of the nuance out of the mix, opting instead for a relentless high-speed D-beat crust assault. Noisier guitars, and they don’t even take the time to warm up your ears with an intro—they just fucking unload. I like the combination of the two bands—different but equally effective approaches to a tried-and-true genre. The split EP is a much-maligned format (and perhaps rightly so), but this one is worth its weight in wax. I expected nothing less from either band, and they both delivered." (Robert Collins, MMR #445, June 2020)

I'm going crazy, it's raining after so many sunny days. That's really remarkable, the meadows are strawy and anything but green. I guess it's similar across much of Europe & I'm really glad, I won't be here in a hundred years (sad the whole thing, or?), a red marker on the calendar! - Who cares.... enjoy the four single malts!

- Great Thx to Fredrik -

RATTUS - Uskonto On Vaara 1984

Third "mini" album by Rattus, legendary Finnish hardcore punx which were formed 1978 in Vilppulaon, on Poko Records with nine short killers. Who could give a better review than Pushead himself, who also provided his art for the cover: "Rattus combustion, startling adrenaline speed and hammerhead blows of power. Featuring the new high-velocity rasping vocals of Annikki, they virtually sweep forth with sharp-edged earloads of riveting force and disorderly rapidity. Brilliant Finnish hardcore, unhesitant and explosive assaults of raw nitro energy." Pushead (MRR #7 • July/August 1983) - And that's exactly what it is, a furious album with little playing time. Numerous albums and singles also prove their creative passion in songwriting, let's generously ignore contributions to compilations, there are too many... and now: POGO!

RAW POWER - Screams From The Gutter 1985

I thought I had already posted this record, but to my shame I find out, No.. so now it's time for a fucking milestone awesome Hardcore stuff and I'm talkin' about the second album by Raw Power from Poviglio on Toxic Shock. The deal with the label came about during a tour of the USA in 1984 when the five performed with the Dead Kennedys in Los Angeles. It was on this show that they were discovered by Bill Sassenberger, owner of Toxic Shock Records. The band signed a record deal with Bill, from which the album Screams From The Gutter emerged and this sold well over 40.000 copies, exclusively through independent distributors and shops. As you can hear, this slab was played very often, cracks properly, but is that a wonder ???? No!, powerful songs with excellent lyrics and vocals that I rarely heard back then. AllMusic editor Eduardo Rivadavia gave the album a perfect five-star rating, describing it as "one of the all-time classics of the '80s crossover movement" and "as seminal a document of '80s crossover as has ever been recorded". I can only agree because there is nothing wrong with this album and a worthy farewell to September. A must have!

MANIACS & ZYKLOME A - Split EP 2017

Two fantastic bands which were active in the 80s and significantly shaped the rough fast hardcore style. Two songs per combo, all four already published but here in different versions, I guess they are demos, at least they sound more raw and edgy. I like that scruffy sound and they are always welcome. I have re-upped all the records in the blog so that you can enjoy them to the full and I promise you, there are divine specimens among them. Maniacs were punx from Rotenburg an der Fulda, formed 1982 and disbanded in the early 1990's. They made three albums and two 7Inches. Zyklome A were punx from Bonheiden, active from 1980 to 1985. They made one album and 7Inch in the mid 80s. Solid release by Power It Up Records.

V/A - No More Borders EP 2012

Spicy snacks of well-known bands with a faster pace are in the house and on this little motherfucker they turn their 45BPM again and again. Originated in co-operation of numerous small international labels and pressed in an edition of 500 copies (a few coloured); plus an elaborate full color double sided artwork, with full lyrics insert. What's inside?: ripping thrash, strong hooks, with a musical standard which is almost uniformly high. I don't know whether these are exclusive tracks, but all four songs can be used at any dance event. A good opportunity, for those who are not very familiar with them, to discover four hot bands. Entertaining, Chapeau!

1.2012 - The End Of Everything - MDC
2.Ciao Cavaliere - SÖM-HI NÖISE
3.Tired And Furious - RAW POWER
4.Fuck Shit Up - NAKED AGRESSION

THE NEIGHBORHOODS - No Place Like Home 7'' 1980

The Neighborhoods came out of Boston around 1976-77 while the whole punk scene was going on at the Rathskeller (The Rat) in Kenmore Square. The Hoods were an excellent rock group playing Mod punk-type music a-la early Who and much like the Jam and Generation X in their early days. David Minehan was the lead singer and guitar player who from the very beginning had a great stage presence and played guitar like it was his last night on earth. In the back was Mike Quaglia keeping the rock steady beat and Jim Bowman keeping the bass lines strong so Dave could weave in and out. By 1979 the band changed bass players and John Hartcorn was there to add more bass rhythm and energy to the mix. The band was now on fire and easily won the WBCN Rock'N Roll Rumble held at the Rat. The Hoods power-rock was infectious with songs like “Monday Morning”, “Teachers Pet”, “Flavors”, “She’s So Good” and “Think It Over.” In 1980 they released a single on Ace Of Hearts label called “Prettiest Girl” & “No Place like Home” which got a lot of airplay in the local New England area. Soon the Hoods were a favorite local attraction in RI and especially at the Living Room with sell-out crowds. The Hoods were on the verge of going nationally but based on stories we later learned, mismanagement caused the band to split for a brief moment in July 1981 but as it turned out, it was the end of an era in the early Hood history. It’s a shame they never got to release an album from that time frame to capture that great raw power era...

After the Hoods regrouped they decided to go in a different direction. Gone was John Hartcorn on bass and he was replaced with Tim Green who added a more funky style playing to the new music. The band material now was based more on higher energy and less on bright melodies. In 1984 they finally released their first mini-LP "Fire Is Coming" with another new bass player named Lee Harrington who had joined the year before. That was followed by a full record for Restless record label in 1986, "...the high hard one...." and "Reptile Men," in 1987. The band also did a national tour with the Ramones in 1988.....

ATONAL - Keller Party Anti Pop (Demos '88) 2016

Now damn cool Punkrock from the Ex-GDR, Atonal from Freiberg, active from 1986 to 1998. They began under the name "Taktlos" and gave their first concerts in the hot days of 1987 in the context of the Berlin "Kirchentag Von Unten". In the same year the band was banned and renamed itself to Atonal, which even received official permission to play through "Classification", but they gave a shit about it and wrote still political and socially critical texts, so they were temporarily banned from playing gigs in the GDR (Fuck The System!). This trendy record was released/compiled in a collaboration of Hörsturzproduktion/Elb-Power Records in an edition of 300 copies and has fourteen raw recordings of the combo at the start. The band consisted of Liesel (vocals), Oberleder (guitars), Ian (bass), Henne (drums) and they made one album, a 7Inch + a few tapes and represented on some compilations. Even today, Atonal still give concerts every now and then. So this is an important audio document I think, from a time when it wasn't easy to live out one's own attitude to life, with a lyric sheet and bandinfo. Classic D-Punk!

IMPACT & EU'S ARSE - Split EP 1983

Superb split EP from the european mediterranean boot. The first side kicks off with Impact from Ferrara and together with Raw Power, Rappresaglia and Stigmathe, they belong to the pillars of the Italian hardcore scene. In business throughout the eighties, the group broke up at the beginning of the nineties, after the last publications, in which they had undergone a change of sound that disappointed the fans and partly also the same members of the group but they back with a series of concerts, Paul Root (vocals), Stefano "Janz" Ragazzi (guitars), Bistek (bass) and Alberto "Gigo" Gigante (drums). In 1983 they started collaborating with Eu's Arse, which results in this self-produced Split EP. On these recordings 'Infa' appears for the first time on the mic & they earned positive reviews of the San Francisco Maximumrocknroll fanzine, which monthly held a column on the international hardcore scene. In 1984 they were then invited by Dave Dictor from MDC to participate in the double P.E.A.C.E. Benefit compilationIn 1985 Impact released via Chaos Produzioni their debut Solo Odio with ten energetic, political smasher, today one of the most representative of Italian hardcore. In the ensuing tour, the group followed various changes of formation that found stability with the passage of Bistek to the voice and the entry of Diego Fabbri, previously a member of Total Disarmament. Two 7Inches followed, 1990 the second album Tutto Tace but record does not receive the approval of the previous ones, triggering a spiral that will lead the group to the dissolution in 1992.

Eu's Arse from Udine were formed in the early eighties and together with Upset Noise they were among the most important groups of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia scene. The band take their name from the name assigned to the Italian punks from European and English punks, and consisted of Stefano (vocals), Teo (guitars), Gianluca (bass) and Luca (drums). In 1982 they participated in the Spring Offensive festival at the Virus Social Center in Milan, then immediately publishing their first EP Lo Stato Ha Bisogno Di Te? Bene, Fottilo. The record was supported by the New Fahrenheit fanzine. In 1983 this split EP. In a review of Maximumrocknroll describes the sound as "a combination of repetitive Discharge matrix riffs combined with an unpleasant sounding voice reminiscent of a poet in the throes of furious madness". After a long tour and numerous training changes, the group broke up in 1985. So that's the story, now music!

RAW POWER - Live From The Gutter 1996

Puhhh, almost sleepy half of Saturday and still not fit and tonight to Mainz for a gig but I don't wanna moan, at my age I need longer regeneration phases. Today's post pulls us to the boot in the middle of the mediterranean sea and we're attending a gig of Raw Power which was recorded @ the "Maffia Illecit Music Club", Reggio Emilia on the first of march 1996. Released via Godhead and I remember when I first listen to their debut record I was totally excited, such an amazing aggressive hard sound I only knew of US Hardcore bands as Septic Death, MDC or D.R.I., and clear that I was immediately interested in the Italian scene and enriched my collection with more vinyl, yeah... I love this music! On this little sucker are twenty-seven blasts in a varied compilation of old classics and newer songs and I find the selection perfect. Check their homepage for more info and enjoy the show.

V/A - Metal Attack Vol.1 1985

Now a little trip back to my Metal days with this nice compilation from Noise Records. Six bands and we kick off with Grave Digger from Gladbeck, formed 1980 and they're still alive, Running Wild were formed 1976 in Hamburg. They were part of the German metal scene to emerge in the early to mid-1980s. Over the course of their career, they have released sixteen studio albums, three live albums, five compilation albums, and six singles/EPs. Although their earlier releases contained Satanic themes and imagery, Gerald "Preacher" Warnecke, the guitar player of the band, was studying theology at the time and is now a pastor in Cologne. Helloween's a power metal band also from Hamburg, founded 1984 by members of bands Iron Fist and Gentry. They released fifteen studio albums, three live albums, three EPs, and twenty-seven singles, and has sold more than eight million records worldwide. Warrant were formed 1983 in Düsseldorf by Jörg (vocals & bass), Thomas (guitar), Oliver (guitar) and Lothar (drums). Also Thomas Franke played all drums in 1985 studio recordings of both EP and LP and in 1999 recordings as well. They went on tour with Warlock in 1985, after releasing an EP and an LP the band soon split up. Sinner was formed by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner in 1982, based in Stuttgart the band released their first album, Wild'n'Evil in 1982. This album, along with the next two (Fast Decision and Danger Zone) were raw affairs, having little in common with the melodic metal they would later become known for. Celtic Frost were a Swiss extreme metal band from Zurich. They are known for their strong influence on the development of extreme metal. Formed in 1981 as Hellhammer, the band became Celtic Frost in 1984 and was active until 1993. Their music included elements of various extreme metal styles. Their earlier music was classified as thrash metal and death metal and their later work was classified as doom metal. The level of experimentation on albums such as Into the Pandemonium led certain journalists to describe the band's direction as avant-garde metal.

1.Shine On - GRAVE DIGGER
2.Tears Of Blood - GRAVE DIGGER
3.Diabolic Force - RUNNING WILD
4.Murderer - HELLOWEEN
5.Scavenger's Daughter - WARRANT
6.Danger Zone - SINNER
7.Dethroned Emperor - CELTIC FROST
8.Morbid Tales - CELTIC FROST

CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER - Money Talks 1987

I remember when my best Friend and I listen to their first album Convicted we were completely blown away, such fast music we knew only from Septic Death, D.R.I., Raw Power & MDC but that was Hardcore and at that time we broke with Metal and became Punx and Cryptic Slaughter mixed both genres into one big whole and on the second album they drove the pace back a little, nevertheless famos! Info: The band was formed 1984 by Les Evans (age 17), Scott Peterson (age 14) and Adam Scott (age 15), who met through their mutual participation in the American Youth Soccer League (AYSO). Soon they were joined by Bill Crooks (age 15), a friend of Adam Scott and a fellow soccer player. Adam Scott was let go a few months later due to conflicts regarding his parents and school. Their first demo, Life in Grave, was produced in 1985 and became well circulated in the burgeoning tape-trader underground. Their first full-length LP, Convicted, was released in 1986 on Death/Metal Blade records, whose artist roster also boasted D.R.I., Corrosion Of Conformity, the Mentors and Beyond Possession. Within its first year of release, Convicted sold over 25,000 copies and earned Cryptic Slaughter the reputation as being one of the fastest bands in hardcore. Next came Money Talks in 1987, which is still considered by many to be the band's best effort. Mixing crushing grooves with lightning speed, Money Talks surpassed Convicted's success by selling 35.000 in its first year and by earning Cryptic Slaughter a fanatical following around the world. They took on the right-wing theocracy directly, with songs like "Freedom Of Expression" that skewered the censorial nature of the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), founded by Al Gore's wife Tipper. Their "American Heroes" directly confronted the mass media heroic mythology of the astronauts who died in the explosion of the space shuttle Challenger, when millions toil to survive daily in a world of injustice. Along with D.R.I. they were at the forefront of a musical genre known as much for its relentless energy as its radical anti-authoritarian politics, even if not all the listeners paid attention.

The original line-up recorded their final studio album, Stream Of Consciousness, in 1988. Unhappy with the recording process and the album's production, the band's internal problems were magnified by life on the road. They broke up in the summer on tour before Stream was released later that fall, they played their last show in Detroit on July 14, 1988.

Shortly after returning home, however, guitarist Les Evans and bassist Rob Nicholson recruited new member Eli Nelson and continued on in a new direction. This new incarnation was short-lived, however, and Evans moved to Portland in May 1989 to reform the band with an entirely new line-up, which included Brian Lehfeldt of Wehrmacht fame. The final Cryptic Slaughter album, Speak Your Peace, was a definite departure from the previous material, heavily influenced by a changing music scene.

The band are often credited as one of the progenitors of crossover, the thrash metal and hardcore crossover genre, along with such seminal acts as D.R.I., Corrosion of Conformity and Suicidal TendenciesIn 2003, Relapse Records reissued Convicted and Money Talks with added bonus tracks from Cryptic Slaughter's demo and live recordings. Due to legal reasons, the band changed their name to Lowlife and will be touring and playing CS songs.

And now I have to go to the birthday party of a dear friend!

ATTENTAT - Som En Fågel 7'' 1982

Punk by Gothenburg-based combo Attentat now with their fourth 7'' which follows their classic debut album "Tatuerade Tårar". The band was formed by four guys in the summer of 1978 and members were Mats, Magnus "Toad" Rydman, Martin "Frog" Fabian and Day Wetterholm. The band originally formed as the Frogs but soon renamed in Autumn 1978 and they belong to the first generation of punk bands in Gothenburg. Attentat are active in the garage league and dropped the first three singles on their own record label Rykkman and an album on Elevator Records. The group toured extensively, often in the provinces, until January 1986 when even Jorgen Save-Soderbergh participated as a member of the final phase. Live concerts are often events with much singing, foot-stomping and clapping. Musically, they went from raw punk to the typical straight and simple trallpunk. These two songs here are certainly not their best but with trumpet and saxophone (two unusual instruments in the punkrock world) they dare something new and made it cool, power rock'n'roll and I think both were published only on this record.

THE PROLETARIAT - Soma Holiday 1983

New stuff for me: The Proletariat, punx from Southeastern Massachusetts, whose heyday was during the 1980s, when they were active in the early Boston hardcore scene, sharing the bill with many of the best punk and hardcore punk acts of the time, despite their recorded output having a decidedly non-hardcore aesthetic; the Proletariat show more strongly the musical influences of early British post-punk bands such as The Jam, Buzzcocks and Gang Of Four in their fractured guitar sound. Tired of the pompous bands of the 70’s with their elaborate stage shows they gravitated towards sparse presentation, preferring to let the music and lyrics stand on their own. Between November 1981 and March 1982, they recorded material at Boston's Radiobeat Studios and brought a couple of songs as reels for airplay on local radio stations, the band gained national exposure via the excellent This Is Boston, Not L.A., a compilation of bands from the local scene released by Newbury Comics' Modern Method Records, a self-released limited seven song tape EP called 'Distortion' followed shortly thereafter. Four songs from this demo surfaced on vinyl along with fourteen more songs to comprise the band's first record 'Soma Holiday', Steven Blush, author of American Hardcore: A Tribal History said: "The Proletariat played offbeat post-Punk with Hardcore intensity and a radical twist. Frontman Richard Brown wrote oblique lyrics, part Ginsberg, part Mao.. 1983's Soma Holiday LP came off light years ahead of its time." In 1984, the band return to Radiobeat Studios to record another album and an early version of "An Uneasy Peace" brought the band international attention via its inclusion on the P.E.A.C.E. compilation from R Radical Records. Later that year, before their second album was completed, many line-up changes accelerated the end of the Proletariat and shortly after performing a pair of final shows on 1.July 1985 with Italian band Raw Power @ the Living Room rock club in Providence/Rhode Island, the band disbanded.

V/A - Really Fast Vol.1 1983

Further with an another essential compilation and I think from this serie exist ten volumes and of course we start with Volume Number One. RAW POWER - Wop Hour EP 1985

Let's start this cloudy Sunday with one of the bands that immediately impressed me: Raw Power from Poviglio/Reggio Emilia. Formed 1981 by brothers Mauro (vocals) and Giuseppe Codeluppi (guitar). With Davide (guitar), Maurizio (bass) and Fabiano (drums) they recorded 1983 their first tape and this excited attention and they were represented on some famous compilations. In 1984 the debut 'You Are The Victim' was released via Meccano Records and is in my opinion one of the best Hardcore records everSo they were finally established world-wide, especially in the States they toured with renowned bands and also in Europe they were valued. Several line up changes, a further series of compilations and lots of albums come out. On 6. October 2002 Guiseppe died unexpectedly and Raw Power at first stopped playing and then decided to continue (another member Luca Carpi died two years later, aged only 34). Raw Power are always a great pleasure for me, especially live and listen here for more stuff and be thankful to the longest-running band in history of Italian hardcore punk. This EP is the re-release with five tracks on Westworld. Fuck Authority, Grazie!

V/A - Ultra Hardcore Power 1983

I know this is not the Hardcore Vol 1 sampler that was required (I'll post it soon) but this one is just as essential. It's the first compilation from Mülleimer Records, the third most important German label in my opinion and have released in six years a few cool german punk records which are nowadays very sought and you can find a few of course on wdthtc. On this platte five bands, Normahl had at that time two records out, their legendary Stuttgart Über Alles EP and their first album Verarschung Total, Chaos Z with four cuts which are already sound dark and personel and already have the later Fliehende Stürme touch, all exclusive. In Stuttgart at home german Oi! combo Herbärds with their first vinyl outputs, two decent streetpunk numbers with funny lyrics. In 1984 the band released their debut album and they're somehow still active. Then Inferno from Augsburg and their classic hardcore tunes which made them interesting for the American punkers and their first album Tod & Wahnsinn is a blast (comin' soon) and last but not least Bluttat from Mülheim who unfortunately did not make the breakthrough, although they had three first-class brilliant hardcore albums with aggressive lyrics and they have been honored by Colturschock Records with a compilation called "Raw And Pure 1981-1984" (1000 copies) with old & rare goodies and I can recommend this record because it's fuckin' great. For a first label compilation not bad, everything sounds very raw and genuine and a year later Part 2 came out with more German underground noises, a better production and with bands which are not under contract upon Mülleimer and on the record are 100% exclusive tracks and it comes also in 192k/Bit in less than eight days. Cheers! and enjoy this early D-Punk classic.
