Second 7Inch Compilation in the small Berlin Frisbee series, released alongside the masterpiece Wenn Kaputt Dann Wir Spass. All of this material is a fascinating piece of divine music that powerfully captures the pulsating energy and creativity of the Berlin underground scene. Upon first listening, I was immediately impressed by the diversity and innovative approach of the tracks included. The compilation offers an exciting mix and reflects the feeling of early, spontaneous basement bands, and each track brings its own character, making the overall listening experience extremely pleasant and varied. It's impressive how diversely the then enclave of Berlin managed to combine its influences while simultaneously presenting its own distinctive style. Many of the songs are not only musically appealing, but also emotionally profound. The lyrics tell stories that range from personal experiences to social issues, and this symbiosis simply sticks in your mind, making listening to this little nostalgic record an intense experience. The recordings are consistently high-quality, and Weird System, as always, has selected the best nuggets. Creative and experimental, Berlin Frisbee #02 is an excellent homage that brings the early Punk rebellion into your home. It's a record I enjoy playing again and again to preserve my identity and be swept away by the energy of the raw sound. 1000 hand numbered copies and an absolute must-have!
