V/A - Brainkiller 1999

Pooh...what a soccer match against Darmstadt but in the end a deserved victory and important three points against relegation. - Last post today brings us to the States and this compltaion is a further nugget of excellent kbd stuff. Smashers from rare 7Inches which move my ass and this piece is one of my favourite record. All infos inside, perfect artwork (very colorful) and no failure. So I would do it as well. At the end of the record the underdogs from Spain there, perhaps a tribute to the Oi! 4 album. So let's kill brains with Lost Punk Hits From The Americas 1977-1982. V/A - Soundtracks Zum Untergang 1980

Start today, in my opinion with the best German punk compilation ever: the first release of the Berlin label AGGRESSIVE ROCKPRODUKTIONEN (AGR). Full with rare stuff from bands which release a lot of good records and on this vinyl are seventeen hits! Offensive, hard, very good lyrics, straight to the point and a good artwork. Some idiots bothered by two dittys and submitted an application for indexing and got right.... the plate was removed and all other releases were with beeps accompanied (MCF #1 and Slime #6), so simple subculture was then dismembered. Well, the uncensored are rare and expensive, but every damn penny worth. Two years later Volume 2 comes out with more new German bands, more hits and it's, without question, also great, Deutsche Wertarbeit!

2.Selbstmord - OH 87
3.Ihr Helden - HASS

12.I Hate - RAZORS
13.Führer - DAILY TERROR

BITCH BOYS - A'Capella Schumacher EP 1981

From Stockholm comes another great punk band called the Bitch Boys and they were formed in 1978. They disbanded in 1981 after several songs. They also did some gigs and had plans for more, but due to memberproblems it all died. They reunited again in 1994 and re-recorded all the old songs again on a compilation album called "Vi Är Trötta På Att Vara Bäst". The name of the band is a parody of the Beach Boys. The band played angry & funny stuff and you can hear it quite well. A rare release and again I thank the noble contributor who sent me this little piece of vinyl. And because I'm a nice guy I packed their first 7Inch 'Häftig Fredag' from 1979 within.

HJERTESTOP - Vi Ses I Helvede 2008

I love denmark punk and Hjertestop had the raw snotty elements and the amazing melodies (like No Hope For The Kids or Gorilla Angreb). This is the loooong awaited debut album from the K-town heroes and of course expectations are higher than Amy Winehouse on a night out in Camden. Ten raging new hardcorepunk blasts in the vein of early 80s classic American Hardcore like Reagan Youth or D.I., but essentially it's the magnus opus of the K-town scene. They are pure perfection, packed with piss and vinegar yet fiercely catchy and memorable. A more than worthy follow up to the debut 'Vi Ses I Helvede' here are Twenty-Three minutes of pure hardcorepunk bliss. If you think Danish punk reached it's peak around 'Pære Punk', you're basically full of shit and in desperate need of psychiatric help. This record is the proof.

THE EXIT - Who Asked You 7'' 1979

The Exit was a punk band from the South Side of Chicago in the late 1970s. They were short lived and only played a handful of shows (one of those was in Calumet City), though they did manage to put out this one rare record (500 copies) in 1979. Some sleeves were made on blue paper stock. Not much else is known about them. This 7'' contains two typical '77 style numbers as I love it, melodic, dirty guitars, a harsh voice and with driving rhythm that screams for more. Unfortunately does not, too bad. Can be found on Killed By Death #19 and jetzt ist wieder Ruh'.

BLAUPUNKT - s/t LP 1982

Another highlight from my Wanted List has emerged. The one and only studion album by this Norwegian wave/punk band. After their first EP Cupfinalen with three brilliant smashers they published two years later their famously debut album with twelve classic songs (of course with the hymn 'Maskin Maskin') on Sonet Records. Typical for the band is their melodic playfulness, harmonious riffs, here and there a shallow guitar solo, fast numbers mingle with melancholy and the woman can sing, all in Norwegian of course and Blaupunkt never sounds gloomy. They have power and this album is simply sensational. What then followed to the band is unfortunately not known because google gives no more information but this record is not re-released on CD. Yep!, another rarity which I want not longer hide from you. So, that's all for today, Champions-League is knockin'.

IQ 55 - Du Är Så Sårbar 7'' 2013

In 2013 four friends, I think, had the idea to bring more rare Swedish punkrock in the world and founded a new label called Slyngel Rekords. Reason enough for me to post more or less one of them. Without my friend Fredrik I would never have been in touch with this stuff and without permission, I would not set in here. Thus, this first is as a quick snack and I recommend to buy the records. Meanwhile, thirteen are published, each limited to 300 copies, colored vinyl with nice artwork. Absolutely non-profit oriented and a good example of passion expression, from Fans for Fans. IQ 55 from Linköping was the first release and they recorded a 7Inch in 1979 and a demo in 1980. Brilliant kbd punk stuff. Get in touch with label via Fatzebook and stay up to date for new records.

FOSGEN - Pack [Demo] 1983

Now a nice tape which dormant for a year on my hard drive and I have simply overlooked, it happen sometimes... Anyway, this four piece combo from Gävle exists 1981-1983 and recorded this one demo with twelve decent goodies in twenty-five minutes, rough mid-tempo punkrock with a blurred guitar and a cool voice. Surprisingly good quality and it's a pity why nobody made a record with them. Well, that is all what I have to say but in our modern times nothing is lost and good gets better. All scans within, all what you need, let's Punk!

KAOS ROCK - W.W.3 1980

Welcome to the raw, wild and psycho-o-phonic sound of this wild punk rock band from Milan. The group were formed in 1979 by Luigi Schiavone (guitar), Gianni Muciaccia (bass), Maurizio Granata (drums), Gianfranco Segatto (guitar) and Cesare Pedrotti (vocals). These restless young teenager were immediately attracted by the wind Punk Rock and also from the slums of unhealthy Lower East Side and CBGB's in New York (R.I.P.) which brings a raw and powerful sound over the ocean and they had enough from melody and romanticism shit which was characteristic of the Italian light music. So they start Kaos Rock, a musical revolution, a real electric shock. From the capital of Lombardy the band had the opportunity to get a rehearsal room and played first gigs. Eventually the Italian label Cramps Records released their debut record "WW 3" (World War 3) in 1980 and after the album two 7inches followed and shortly after its release the label unfortunately closed its doors. One of the last albums by the label are the compilation Rock'80 which Kaos Rock has two songs on it and they also featured on the awesome Killed By Death #201-D'Italia. In 1981 the very short and intense career of Kaos Rock ends. Awesome fourteen killer songs record!!!

THE LANDLORDS - Songs From The Backyarddesert 2007

From the cosmopolitan city of Oberhausen come these three gentlemen and I discovered this band when my beloved girl and I visit a concert with my friends of Van Hellsing in Aachen on February 2009. It was fuckin' cold that time but the small city excursion with a stop in the cathedral from Karl dem Großen (Charlemagne) was amazing and a tasty food afterwards was fantastic. Then the gig was quite unique and I became quickly hot. Their music I would describe as dark garage Punk'n'Roll and live they burn the whole fuckin' stage, reminds a bit of the brilliant Billy & The Willies, and everyone swings their dancin' shoes. These guys are very polite, funny & likable. Aachen remains an unforgettable trip with a cracking evening we had with you, Muchas Gracias! A second album is already in the works or already released but I never seen it. Visit them on their MySpace page and if you had the chance to see them live you should go there. B.t.w., under the name V.V.L. the boys made very good gloomy GermanPunk sound. ENJOY!!
