FUNERAL DRESS - I'm In Love With Oi! 1995

"Ahhh..!" what a hammer record, a friend lent it to me finally and I directly ripped it. Funeral Dress is a street punk band from Belgium who formed in 1985 and here are songs from this period, mixed with new stuff and some covers (Watch Your Back, Young Punx Go For It...). Alone "Getting Pissed" or "The World We Live In" are worth to praise this Album. In my personal Top-Twenty punk albums this Fucker is located near the top. ;>

NEGAZIONE - Venlo/Bauwagenplatz 27.04.1985

Negazione is a hardcore punk band based in Turin, Italy during the 80's and early 90's. Formed in 1983, they were one of the most important band for the hardcore punk scene in Italy at the time. They were one of the early bands of the Italian hardcore punk scene, like Raw Power, Wretched, Declino & Indigesti. Negazione broke up in 1992, their last show being at that year's Monsters of Rock (?) festival. They are still remembered as hardcore legends by many not just in Italy, but also world-wide. This Bootleg is a fuckin' killer, a MUST for every Hardcore fan. Seventeen fast and raw trashers in thirty minutes in an amazing quality. If you don't get this then you're definitely on the wrong blog!!!!

LOST KIDS - Bla Bla 1980

Now an album of my favorite ones. Bla Bla is the first longplayer by the Danish Lost Kids from Copenhagen. Founded by Jan Jet 1978 after a trip to Britain. Danish cover versions of first generation punk songs were frequent in the early repertoire, which were revitalized by Jan Jets fresh word-games. With Sods the most famous band from this small Scandinavian country. After two 7inches, Født Som Nul and Cola Freaks, the record was released via Medley Records and is with seventeen songs perfectly loaded. What I particularly like is this record has a great variety, female/male singing, short punk goodies, reggae and a little pop stuff and the singalong factor is enormously high. The use of many instruments is positive as well and garnished here and there with decent short guitar solos. This should persuade you. Also necessarily: Bloodstains Across Denmark. Give It To Me!

VULPESS - Me Gusta Seruna Zorra 2005

Female punk band made up of four women. Pioneers of the aggressiveness they showed in their songs and concerts, there were a hole in the Basque musical scene. Vulpess (latin name for fox, and this a slang name for whore if I understand right) was the first punk female band in the Basque Country (Spain), formed in 1982 by four girls between seventeen and twenty-one years old. The had their glory minute when they played in TV "Me Gusta Ser Una Zorra" (I like being a whore) in a TV program in 1983. They released one great single and they dissolved the same year. The music is actually more '77 punk/garage and catchy then most of the stuff on this site, but still aggresive enough to grab every punk's attention. Too bad they didn't make at least another record. In 2005 met promptly and returned to the studio to record this CD. In 2012 came out a live album called Barbarela '83 via Punk Away Records in an edition of 800 copies, rec. live in Palma, must be also great. Get It!

WILLI WARMA - Ich Sprenge Alle Ketten! 7'' 1981

First post in 2016 and I wanna start with a good motto: I blast all chains! I hope you all arrived perpendicular.

Figurehead of the Linz music scene end of the 70s were Willi Warma. According to the Vienna Music funnel "Linzer best local band." The legendary punk heroes Willi Warma (1977-1983) were not only the "only Austrian rock and roll band, which also looked like a rock'n'roll band, they lived and behaved. The very name of Willi Warma had a magical, mysterious, wicked attraction, briefly joined punk with glam rock, and was also so sexy like nothing else in the former Austrian music scene. From their home in Linz - the equally legendary "Café Landgraf" - conquered the band early 1980 Vienna by storm, became regular guests at trendy venues like the U4 and spread so the news of Linz as the absolute hot spot of the Austrian punk, new wave & underground scene. They brought new wind with their präpotent glamorous style and the excessive "the most arrogant band in the country" ("The Vienna") but also the first time something like a pop-consciousness and Popknowin' (in the sense of writing popmyths about pop songs) to Austria. Willi Warma played punk as Idea of pop as the idea of punk and pop. And they were absolutely the undisputed champion in matters of teenage anthems! Moreover, with "Stahlstadtkinder" they brought the sense of time and a whole generation to the point. The end comes a little later in early 1983. After the first foreign business (in the Nuremberg KOMM) dissolve Willi Warma, despite further offers concert, while driving home to Linz. The Complete Works of the band there are now on CD. "Stahlstadtkinder" (Fish Records) brings nineteen songs, including some unpublished recordings and live recordings, a quarter of a century later access. So here two awesome tracks, A-Side a pissoff punk tune, the B-Side a cool reggae bitch. Superb!!!

DE PRESS - Block To Block 1981

De Press is a Polish-Norwegian new wave band founded in Oslo in 1980. They were among the leading Norwegian new wave bands, and also gained a following in Poland. The original De Press had the following line-up: Andrej Nebb (Andrzej Dziubek) - vocals & bass, Jørn Christensen - guitar, Ola Snortheim - drums & percussion and the debut album Block to Block was one of the most influential Norwegian rock releases in the early 80's (alongside The Aller Værste's Materialtretthet). With their unmistakeable blend of typical early 80's dark new wave rock and Eastern European influences (complete with Polish refugee Andrej Nebb's often unintelligble Norwegian-English-Polish lyrics), they have remained an oft-referenced band in Norwegian rock. Original pressings of their early work fetch high prices on the second hand market, and although none of their subsequent album releases matched their debut in terms of acclaim and popularity, Block to Block is consistenly rated high on "best Norwegian albums of all time" lists and is nowadays a true classic punk/wave album. The original De Press disbanded in 1981, but also recorded a second album in 1982 called Product. They reunited in 1991. By 1995, Nebb was the only remaining original member. With various line-ups, Nebb's De Press still tour and release records in Poland.

DER FLUCH - s/t LP 1982

Side projekt of Deutscher W, lead singer of OHL, which were founded 1981 in Leverkusen. Their early sound is a bit Influenced by bands like The Cramps and Meteors but naturally OHL. The first album was released in 1982 on Rock-O-Rama and that same year the Gesandten Des Grauens 12'' plus three goodies on the 'Die Deutschen Kommen' comp. After that the band disappeared for twelve years until 1994, then comes the album 'Für Immer' out and the music became harder and the lyrics are still influenced by the British Hammer and horror B-movies. In 1994 they were represented with Betet Für Uns on the Godfathers of German Gothic compilation and thus pays tribute to the influence of Der Fluch on the German Gothic-Rock scene. Until 2002 they published three albums. The band is still acitve, but plays only sporadically live. I like those early tunes and I think these are the best recordings from Der Fluch, pretty minimalistic and very catchy. Today rarities, at that time they were laughed. So kann's gehen, nicht wahr. In this file are the songs of the 12" included. The envoys of horror ask for the dance, don't let them wait!

R.I.P. Lemmy * 24.12.1945 - † 28.12.2015

And again, the world has lost a very big Rock & Roller, you know it certainly all. On 28 December 2015, four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy died from an "extremely aggressive cancer." I'm sure he would rather collapsed on stage but it went quickly and he have not to torture in some shitty hospital. I was really shocked when I read this morning of his death, I mean, I enjoy listening Motörhead but that's a while ago. I'm sad about it, now drink a couple of beers and say goodbye to a legend, in his lifetime and now more than ever. In this post you will find two 7Inches, the England 7'' plus the Killed By Death 7''. Lemmy was Motörhead, and he was Rock & Roll!!!

V/A - Halt Die Ohren Steif! (Rare German Underground 1980-1983)

For my International friends: High Quality German Underground Music from rare 7inches, tapes or unknown albums on this one, selfmade artwork, only hits and lost nuggets, leave a comment and tell me what you're thinking.
