The first compilation in 2018 and how can I start better as with Volume 17 of this unknown series? Yeah, this number is dedicated to rare early American Punk from 1977-1979 and I must confess, ca. 52,17% are not bad while the rest is a bit lame and I would not have select them but I don't want complain, we can be grateful that there are detectives who bring us such treasures closer. 700 copies exist and did you know that discogs blocked the sale on some? Weird, isn't it? Seen this way, the records become even more rare. Well, now we have sixteen classics from the good old days of 7Inches that were important at some point.

Das von den united fuckin' states fucking great music comes shows #12 of this rather unknown compilation series and Redrum Records, the label of the possessed, has banned twenty American classics on purple vinyl. The slab goes at the first tone offensive and keeps the level amazingly high to the last song. This volume is an ass kicker, a tsunami, an energy bundle of forty minutes wild, snotty, raw and catchy impacts. I can only recommend you buy this record and enjoy the sound in full volume, your neighbors will definitely invite you to the next barbecue party because they notice how cool you are. I think there are enough copys still available so get yours. A must have!

V/A - British Underground 1977-1982 Vol.2

There are days I really like to sit at the computer and postin' some rare stuff, today is such a day, and let's come to the last cream on this coldy Sunday and it's an unoffical compilation from Chaos Wrecords, released in an edition of 700 hand-numbered copies (I think in 1994) and this fourteen British Underground pieces are certainly not the best of UK punk & wave goodies (in my opinion) but it's another piece of countless bootlegs (it's good that they exist) and the song selection is not bad. I cannot say how I came across this series but it was worth and I bought this record via ebay. I love English punk and with the Disco Zombies and Crisis are two of my favorite bands on it, so bring it on. Of course required Volume 1 and a total of three slabs of this mini-serie were released to date and the last one follows then in 2022. Now enjoy the rest weekend with beautiful music, cold beer and other intoxicating means + the sun.

OK Leute, now we meet a fantastic bootleg which is peppered with eighteen raw and furious punk nuggets from around the world and a label called Reverendo Moon Records from Italy, certainly another synonym for an KBD maniac, pressed this compilation in an edition of 500 copies to the surface. Excellent mix of songs which mark the punk sound between 1977-1981 and you can say what you want: The music was at that time simply better and I wish I had been part of it. With this EP, the small edition Killed By 7Inch is complete and all other volumes are here. Number 10 was not easy to find but who seeks finds, isn't it? Four rare goodies of course and the Invaders one is the best on this record, they released one 7'' and this is the a-side and a solid mid-tempo tune, the flip is a waste of time, Amsterdamned's hardcore tune were taken from the compilation Als Je Haar Maar Goed Zit #2 from 1983, excellent stuff. Florida based band F starts the b-side with a fast track from their 'You Are An EP' single on Intendo Distorto Records from 1984 and last but not least the False Prophets with the title gem of their second slab Good Clean Fun from 1982. I'm sure, your breakfast will taste better with this sound. I will take a shower and come back soon.

And we stay geil with this unofficial reissue of the CD that originally appeared on Epitaph Europe in 1996, called "I'm Sure We're Gonna Make It - Dutch Punk Rock '77-'82". This double vinyl is limited to 1000 copies and compiled by Jeroen Vedder and released in Europe only; some wise punk put it out in it's proper form, for kids 'round the world to enjoy. And unike so many comps, this one is again full with rare and dirty heavy KBD stuff. Lotsa good information too. Jeroen, being a native dutchman, did his country a great service with this record. An excellent compilation of the early dutch punk scene, most tracks are really good with very few losers and some of which I've never heard before.

Unofficial reissue of the "Spaniard Punk Olé!" compilation tape from 1983 pressed on two records and released 2011 by Producciones Magnetofónicas Piratas. Eleven bands, thirty-one tracks, a solid mix of punk and hardcore in typical Spanish style as we love it all. The sound quality is somewhat precarious and was diluted 1:1 into the wax. Unfortunately no further informations enclosed but for such a chic collection not so tragic in my opinion. After all, the original tape cover is inside. Grab it!

So, with heads hung low, we timidly present to you Killed By Florida." A whole album from Florida is stretching things just a bit. This one extends the usual KBD period up to 1985, including some awesome punk bands. The inclusion of the world's greatest, amazing and most incredible punk band ever (The Eat) is alone worth to get this bootleg collection. Also the other bands here kick strong every fat ass and shred purely good. Again many more rarities for our little punk hearts on it and definitely worthwhile. For me, a further evidence that a KBD volume always requires a financial investment, LOL!
