V/A - Punk Är Trevligt/Jazz Är Farligt 1979

"Punk Är Trevligt/Jazz Är Farligt" means "Punk Is Good/Jazz Is Dangerous" and here are thirteen tracks which have it all. TT Reuter with a classic live tune, City Kent shoot a perfect kbd track in the sky, Garboshock heat with an ingenious organ, D.Kon slightly melancholy calm, Martti Lethargie (cool band name) sounds like the Swedish Doors, brilliant and the rest can also convinced. This slab was released via Heartwork Records and I found it through a fluke on my hard disk when I was searchin' for more TT Reuter stuff. Well, this is not my rip but I think it's worth the post here on wdthtc. Both Thumps Up!!!

1.Böka & Trängas - GARBOSHOCK
2.The Leader - D.KON
3.Hemlighet - MARTTI LETHARGIE
4.Sakta In I Allt - TT REUTER
5.Kampsång - ROBERT WIDÉN
6.Snutlåten - CITY KENT
7.Den Udda Gudens Puls - R. METZENER
8.Bilder Av Ett Mörker - TT REUTER
9.Alla & Jag - HEMLIGA BOSSE

TT REUTER - Inuti Mig 7'' 1979

Weekend... Yeah and the right sound deliver us TT Reuter, a Swedish band from Lund which was formed in 1978 as a direct continuation of New Bondage. Members were Henrik Venant (vocals/guitars), Peter Puders (guitars), Peter Ivarss (bass) and Peter Strauss (drums) and this is their amazing debut 7Inch on Heartwork RecordsThe gents make so great music that I immediately bought their album Den Udda Gudens Puls (comin' soon). TT Reuter was one of the most influential bands on the label Heartwork which incidentally was founded and is still run by Henrik Venant and they made three albums and four 7Inches. The band dissolved in 1981. After TT Reuters resolution formed Henrik Venant and Peter Ivarss Underjordiska Lyxorkestern along with members from Garbochock and Peter Puders started playing with the Stockholm-based band Commando M Pigg. Brilliant stuff!

UNDERJORDISKA LYXORKESTERN - Lögnens Mästare 12'' 1982

Now to a band where I'm really undecided. On the one hand their music bores me a little, on the other hand I can't say they suck, do you know what I mean? There are passages that I really like and some that don't infect me and I'm open to good early sound that came out of my youth, and you can't know everything and there was a lot of crap as well (see NDW) but I'm really undecided on this combo. Kicks partly and becomes uninteresting at the same time. A damn conflicht. But I'm posting it now, because it's rare and not total scrap, decide for yourselfs. Some facts: Underjordiska Lyxorkestern (Underground Luxury Orchestra) were formed after TT Reuter and Garbochock were finished and was a Swedish band from Lund and consisted of Henrik (vocals/keys/horns), D.F. Mikael (guitars), Peter (bass/violin/vocals) Binke (drums) and this is their second release on Heartwork Records after the fucking rare Kärleksön 7'' (five testpressings made & remains unreleased, was 1983 as one-sided single released). The only album, Prairie Romanser, was released in 1982 via Silence, and that was it. After releasing their first record, they were the opening act for Siouxsie & The Banshees on their Scandinavian tour in Summer 1982. Peter left the group in 1982 and they continued for a short time as a trio before disbanding in the mid Eighties. Found on some comps, one of them the great Vägra Raggarna Benzin Vol.3 & 4 double record set on Massproduktion. Well, it would be interested what you think about it and write your opinion in the comments.

FIENDENS MUSIK - En Spark Rätt I Skallen 7'' 1978

Fiendens Musik (Enemy Music) are a swedish punk band from Malmö, founded in 1977 by Mats Zetterberg and Mats Bäcker as a rock band in Lund which originated as a pure cover band, quickly developed when they began writing their own songs, inspired by early punk, pubrock and New Wave. The first single, "En Spark Rätt I Skallen (A Kick Right In The Head)" was released on record label Bellatrix (ca. 2300 copies) in Malmö and was the band's breakthrough. The band stood between the old Swedish folkmusic and the fresh new punk. Stage performances were characterized by a high tempo, fast songs, pounding guitars, bellowing sax and a frantic stage show with musicians who literally fell over each other. F.M. played together with bands like Ebba Grön, Dag Vag, Grisen Skriker, TT Reuter and others in the punk movement that they did not belong, but sympathized with. They released in a short time four singles and two albums, the band's composition varied slightly, but the most important members were Mats Zetterberg (vocals), Harry Schiffman (guitars), Mats Backer (sax), Peter Kempinsky (guitars), Ulf Karlberg (bass), Ingvar "Krupa" Nilsson (drums), and Karl G. Jonsson (texts & design). The band's name refers to criticize the publication "The people have never won the enemy music" which was published by the Maoist October Publishers the same year that the band was formed.
