INDIGESTI - Osservati Dall'Inganno 1985

Debut record on TVOR On Vinyl by this powerful hardcore punk from Indigesti, founded 1982 in Vercelli by Rudy Medea (vocals), Enrico Giordano (guitar), Roberto Vernetti (bass) and Massimo Corradino (drums). After some tape releases their first vinyl appearance was the split 7Inch with Wretched in 1983 and in the same year the band broke. Two years later they reform with new bass player Silvio Bernelli (Declino) with obvious stylistic changes over the previous period. The bases were always extremely fast and immediate, but the lyrics became more introspective, dark and melancholic. After a European tour the debut comes out, twelve rough, fast & tight smashers. In 1986 the US label BC Tapes & Records released the 'The Sand Through The Green' EP and returning from the tour that followed the group broke up a second time. In tne 90s the Italian label Vacation House Records released a live album (Lübeck Live 02.09.87) and a compilation (Sguardo Realtà 82/83) with early material. In 2001 they enter the stage again and their last album 'In Disparte' appeared and since then still active. That's it.

EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN - Bonn/Biskuithalle 10.10.1989

OK, this band accompanied me since their initial phase and I can't telling how often I have them seein' live. It is always exciting and always different and this record, I don't know where I have acquired, demonstrating the uniqueness of their music. About Einstürzende Neubauten you can think do what you want. Some people hate others worship them. I find it amazing to make such kind of noise-music and their first 3 albums are definitely classics. Drills, sledge hammers, saws, pipes are their tools in addition to standard musical instruments. They create somehow harmony and with Blixas screaming voice these tracks had power & expression. And the group proved this in these recordings which were made at the 'Haus Der Lüge' Tour. Old and new cuts were combined in 50 minutes in an acceptable sound quality and here immortalized on vinyl. There are two more tracks (Prolog & Wasserturm) which appear on the cover but not on the record. Vinyl-Rip & Brilliant!!

STIFF LITLLE FINGERS - Go For It 1981

Three years ago we both were at a concert from the famous Belfast band Stiff Little Fingers and I can tell you folks, their show was fuckin' amazing. They had five gigs in Germany and they called their tour "Up A Gear" and I was surprised that they stop here in Frankfurt because usually only the four largest cities are blessed with great bands like SLF. So me & my girl of course must to be there. And I was not disappointed. The band shine with astonishing enthusiasm and all classics were played and the audience was enthusiastic and wild Pogo was there, not much but still. I would say the average age of us was the band's same and you know what this means. Egal, I shot a little video but this file is soooo fuckin' big and I can't post it. I must find a programm to convert and when I got it then I post it someday. If you should be interest leave a comment. Reasons enough to post an album and I decided myself for their third album which I like a lot and shows my gratitude to Stiff Little Fingers for all the good music and a memorable evening. Cheers!!

V/A - What Doesn't Hurt Us Makes Us Stronger 1985

Friedrich Nietzsche adage "That which does not kill us makes us stronger!", a wise sentence I believe. So reason enough for the Berlin label Destiny Records to bring out an excellent compilation with this quote. Of course here many Berlin bands are represented together with the Ami fraction which ensure at that time for furore and the divine hardcore punks from Pisa. Partially goodies on it which can only be found here but most of them are on the bands own records or released as 7inches which are also difficult to obtain in these gray days. The first pressing comes with title in golden letters, my copy. The repress was with white. Offensive music for offensive people, not grow weary.

V/A - Paths Of Pain To Jewels Of Glory 1983

This was a request by myself and first I search the www and found it on stripedsunlight blog but unfortunately is no activity there so I have strewed an email to my friends and was prompt answered. I think this is the first compilation on Phantom Records and it's full with pretty songs, most of them were released as 7Inches, a few unreleased. Pleasant bandwidth between Alternative & Punk with little outages. Check ABC for more detailed info. Coz the record has been requested by many of you so I think a re-post here is not harmful. B.t.w. nice artwork. What remains: once again another fine piece of vinyl from down under - ENJOY!

PROBLEM - s/t LP 1978

The debut record (The first edition comes in green vinyl) from Malmö's Problem was released on Smash Records after two 7Inches and offers eleven cool goodies. Excellent snotty guitars mixed with a small dose of keys, not really punky, more a powerful rockin' album I would say. In 2003 appear a streng limited compilation called 'Huller Om Buller' with rehearsal recordings, 200 copies and they sang English in their early days which is also not bad, but Swedish sounds better I think. In the course of their active time two more albums were recorded and in the mid 80s finally the band broke up. So this is a solid debut Rock'N'Roller!

VACUM - Osäker EP 1979 + Maskerad EP 1980

This band is a real phenomenon. Their debut album is already a classic but their first two 7inches beat this. Formed in Sundsvall they had their first vinyl release, I think, on the Sundsvallspunk EP and the other recordings were used for the Osäker EP (better known as simply titled EP), and the six songs on this are amazing, they sound very fresh, not rehearsed, as if the boys just played it off and finished. And this unconcern makes Vacum very simpatico. Released on the cult label Massproduktion in an edition of 500 copies. Their second EP (800 copies) with three songs is also strong and full of magic, truly sparkling and refreshing. With the release of Rädd För Tystnaden they changed their style a bit but the songs still good and grooves in every way. Vacum made with these both records certainly one of the catchiest goodies from Sweden.

- Many Thanx to Fredrik -

DOGS - Mon Coeur Bat Encore 7'' 1984

Another 7Inch which lying here for a while uselessly is this one from the French Dogs. Detailed infos about the band can be found at the Walking Shadows post. This two-sided goodie has the a-side in French and the flip in English. Not as rough as their early recordings but in a decent rockin'punkin' tempo. Well, they made at that time long years of music so the change is preprogrammed..... sometimes. Anyway, a steady record!

SLOTH - s/t LP 2010

This band we saw live and I don't know which was the headliner and when we at home my honey says: 'This is a bit strange!' Well, she was not wrong with it coz the music is certainly not everyone's taste but I like their sound, and certain is: this record brings me beautiful memories. Sloth are a punkband from Ohio and this is a compilation of fifteen songs pulled from various micro-edition singles released by various obscure labels and all but one sung by Neecie, the female voice of Sloth. I was a little skeptical before I get this record but all fifteen songs about animals & friends are charming, funny, sometimes a little weird, punky and in this combination the ultimate document of the beautiful side of Sloth. All two hundred LP's come in silkscreened covers, individually handpainted and stamped and released via Musikzimmer. Sure you can't get a copy but if you see one I can only recommended to buy this record.

SLIME - Live, Arena/Wien 1982

After listen to their debut album I became a punk because that was the sound I was looking for and suited me (my god, how long has it been). Vigorous political punkrock from Hamburg and their first five albums are all classics. Live an experience, energetic & aggressive. Had the opportunity in 1990 in Hamburg and the Fabrik's bursting at the seams, Pogo without end, my pants were totally torn and I have lost at least five pounds. The band was in top form and the crowd confirmed it with an incredible presence. One of the best and most fun concerts I have ever experienced.....unforgotten!!!!!! A litte bit info: Slime is a German punkrock band, founded in 1979 and disbanded in 1994. The pre-Slime band was called Screamer, and the post-Slime band is – contrary to the occasional rumors – not Emils (Slime backwards), but Rubberslime, with the member Elf. In 2010, the band reformed to play some concerts for their 30th anniversary. The band was founded by Michael "Elf" Mayer (guitar), Eddi Räther (bass) and Ball (Peter Wodok/drums). Some months later, Dirk "Dicken" Jora joined as vocalist. Christian Mevs joined the band in 1980 as second guitarist, and Ball left in 1981 and was replaced by Stephan Mahler. Slime were very influential to the German punk culture and their debut album was actually the first banned German punk album. They are often considered to be the prototypical German punk or Deutsch-Punk band. On 15.06.2012, the brand new album 'Sich Fügen Heißt Lügen' is released and in autumn they toured in Germany and Austria. This bootleg here has only classics on it, overall ca. forty-one minutes playin' time and the sound quality is in every way superb. And now: let's be live in Vienna!!!!!
