THE STAR CLUB - Cool Posers! (Early Singles 1977-83) 1999

🎵 This unofficial Compilation by the Star Club from Nagoya is a real blast and features five early 7Inches from 1977-1983 and has nineteen energetic wild nuggets in its suitcase. The band is active since 1977 and has released many albums and singles in their lifespan and simply never tires of creating their excessive Punkrock with pure passion. Their records are relatively difficult to obtain in Europe and I am a big fan of such releases which become rarities. For everyone who already knows the Star Club, this album is a perfect selection and brings all the hits together, those who don't know them will be thrilled. Enough words, I'll fulfill your re-upp requests next week and now I have to go on to the Whitsun backgammon marathon, first prize is a vacation in Hawaii...... enjoy the music! 🎵

V/A - Planet Punk #4 2005

Second and last part of Planet Punk and with Volume 3, this little self-made series is already complete. H2D#26 is another tidbit full of rare stars from international bands that are still kicking ass, much in demand and popular in our fucking disillusioned times which bring little decent music to light in my opinion. Music is like inventions, there is nothing innovative that can really impress me, hardly any wow factor or thing that I can really admire. And I would say that for almost twenty years. Speaking of music, we all hear & see the so called "combos" thrown together, the TV shows which offer only shit and are played over and over by radio stations, all this crap is boring, repetitive and only geared towards profit, commercial shit and really sucks. It's really intoxicating to get acquainted with such music as on this further fantastic compilation and to eke out an existence far away from this dead & dull society. That are the words for Sunday, Amen! Enjoy the vibes of the good ole days!

I think, it's time for another rare compilation from the grandiose Killed By Death series, today we dedicate ourselves to the 300 copies slab by Teenage Lust Records and meet twenty howlin' punk anthems of 1977-1982. The detectives convince with healthy taste and I think, the mix with well-known classics and pieces that are found somewhere on hard-to-get singles is fucking felicitous. Exact my bottle of Hefe and the right sound for breakfast! Admit, you've been waiting for this a long time...

THE STAR CLUB - Toll Gate Ahead 10'' 1980

On this morning I'm glad to give you one more from the Wanted-List and let's move to the east and visit Nagoya where in 1977 the Star Club were founded. The first output was a live tape in 1979 and after another demo the band released their first record, the Toll Gate Ahead 10'' on ELL Record and its an extremely rare piece of vinyl and almost unseen outside of Japan. All six songs are fuckin' cool and what should I write more? A detailed biography on all records there on the orange letters above. At these recordings involved: Hikage (vox), Rhyo (guitars), Eddy (bass) and Bukka (drums). Get it!

V/A - Bloodstains Across The World 1999

Amazing assortment of rare stuff from around the world on this Bloodstains compilation and it is truly remarkable where all finest punk rock was celebrated. Anyway, without www and music junkies around the world we never came in touch with those goodies. This record proves that. The only deficit here: The covers are cheap photocopied foldovers and no info sheet enclosed. Well fuck it, the music is excellent.
