V/A - Three Wins 2018

Der Sommer 2018 ist überragend, Hitze satt wie ich's liebe und das seit Monaten. Klar, dass ich wenig an der Maschine sitze und den Blog nur schleppend fülle doch heute möchte ich Euch drei deutsche Bands vorstellen (Mercí iNgo) die a) erfrischend geile Musik fabrizieren, b) Aufmerksamkeit verdienen und c) weil ich Bock drauf hab'.

Zuerst CARROWS aus Mönchengladbach: Jan, Tim, Maul & Jul haben ihr erstes Demo mit vier fantastischen Wave/Punk Stücken, alle in englisch, veröffentlicht und ich bin nur begeistert. Ich hoffe sehr es findet sich jemand der sich der Band annimmt und ich bin sicher es werden noch weitere Outputs folgen.

Als nächstes KONTROLLE mit ihrem Demo von 2017 ebenfalls vier Songs und diese drei Herren aus Nordrhein-Westfalen zelebrieren einen harten grandiosen Stil den ich als eine Mischung aus Wave, Punk, Post-Punk bezeichnen würde, ihre Texte sind in

deutsch gesungen und beschreiben ihre Emotionen & Konfrontation mit dem Alltagsgeschäft und ich glaube, deutlicher müssen sie nicht werden, genau meine Sprache...auch hier hoffe ich dass weitere Sachen folgen.

Als letztes schließlich DIÄT aus Berlin die bereits seit 2011 ihr Unwesen treiben und schon zwei 7Inches und ein Mini-Album 'Positive Energy' veröffentlichten. Die drei Herren gehen ab wie Zäpfchen mit ihrem dynamischen Punk/Post-Hardcore sound und ein kleines Review bringt's auf den Punkt: "Professionell eingängiges Schlagzeug, eiskalter monotoner Post-Punk-Gesang in Perfektion und eine Rhythmusgruppe, die James Brown zum eifersüchtigen Maultier machen würde." Dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen. Ich kann nur sagen, alle drei Bands sind erste Sahne und werden uns noch viel Freude machen... und das aus deutschen Landen.... weiter so! Hörproben findet ihr auf bandcamp, einfach die orangen Bandnamen anklicken. So weit meine Empfehlungen, genießt die Mucke und haltet Ausschau.

V/A - Trotzdem Süß! 2018

Und jetzt wieder ein weiterer selbstgemachter sampler mit reichlich rarem deutschen PUNK Zeugs der sich sehen lassen kann, emotional & wütend, direkt aus dem Herz gehaun. Zusammengeschnipselt von 7Inches, tapes, vinyl und anderen Quellen die sich auf meiner Festplatte finden, benannt nach einem Ausspruch meiner geliebten Perle, selbstgezimmerten Artwork und in den Jahren 2015 - 2017 entstanden, jetzt erst fertig weil das cover stets dauert. Keine Danksagungen weil es sind eh immer die, die es immer sind! Das Dingens ist jetzt der vierte Teil in dieser Form und all diejenigen unter Euch die hier am Ball sind werden die anderen drei finden. Ich denke, die Auswahl kann sich sehen lassen, gesunde Mischung sowieso und solltet ihr was zu sagen haben, nur zu. - Part IV of the series 'Rare German Underground', everything's planted by myself and my true followers will find the previous three, much taken from rare 7Inches, tapes & vinyl which slumbered deep on my hard disk... enjoy the music!

It's time again to torture you with one of my superfluous self-made compilations and since I'm a Live person, this Machwerk is full with sixteen Alive goodies from bands which I have seen live multiple times, whose records I love and being a constant companion in the past and present. V/A - Alles Wieder Auf Anfang 2017

Zum Abschluß des heutigen Tages präsentiere ich Euch eine weitere self-made Compilation mit rarem deutschen Untergrund der Jahre 1980-1988. Und es ist ein hübsches Werk geworden und mein spezieller Dank geht hierfür wieder an Loni und Reinhard. V/A - The 1055 Post Compilation 2012

Yeah!!!, the 1055th post! Hardcore readers of my blog know this was a sampler for the good old long long gone WildDevilRules Blog and I thought this compilation is today as well as four years ago. I want to thank everyone in the first place who helped me with advice and support, sent me nice emails & awesome music and those who left their comments. A big special thx goes to Fredrik, Reinhard & François which supply me with rare, new and interesting material and I hope our connection still holds on for long, You Three ROCKS!!! Further Henner & Sunny, Count Yorga (hope you all feel ok) and all those beautiful people who I forget, for YOU!! is this sampler made and of course, for my loyal followers. That time I was ready to close WDR because the trouble with mediafire was extremely annoying and all files were with a slip henceforth wiped. A lot of good Blogs closed and I was not alone with this shit and I cannot understand these methods but I say "Fuck Them", I just love this kind of hobby and the work I put in is so much as they can't push me so easy out..... Today on holiday of the German reunification twenty-six years ago here's my little contribution and my idea is a historic and rare compilation by early German punk live recordings from 1980 - 1984 and I hope you can feel the dynamic and energy of this eighty minutes earthquake. All goodies are drawn from different tapes but the sound quality is in every way okay and with the song selection I'm also satisfied. For all live maniacs among you and who wants to be there. Das Beste zum Abendbrot - Bon Appétit!

LEATHERFACE - Rarities 2016

Every year gets me the fucking flu and puts me in checkmate and since yesterday has me fully under control. Shit, well I listen meanwhile to a compilation which I have made in December 2007 and it came the idea to make it new for two good reasons, a) Leatherface is a band which I follow since Cherry Knowle and I love their sound, b) I want a collection of rare b-sides, peel session, acoustic stuff and live shit alltogether and at least I want to dedicate this goodie to guitarist Dickie Hammond, who died 31.October 2015 (thx to reinhard for this sad info). No tracklist here, let yourself surprise. The front pic is from a concert in AK44 Gießen on 16.04.2010, think on their last live tour via germany before they broke up, a last blast so to speak. Have fun with twenty-six Sunderland hymns.

V/A - 23 - Nichts Ist So Wie Es Scheint 1999

Weekend once again I watched DVD and for a long time this movie: 23 - Nichts Ist So Wie Es Scheint (23 - nothing is what it seems) is about Karl Koch, who died on 23 May 1989, probably self-immolation, a hacker who drifts ever further in his numbers and conspiracy mania, based on true story (saw this February 1999 in Hamburg with my then girlfriend and was immediately impressed). The Cold War is raging the global peace movement in defiance of the world in a frenzy of fear of nuclear threat and the 19-year-old Karl Koch is whether this status quo deeply insecure. Maintenance, he finds precisely in the worship of the fictitious character of Hagbard Celine from Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson's Illuminatus! Trilogy. About the depth study of the Illuminati theory says Karl characters identify that point to a worldwide conspiracy of economic and political forces, culminating in the all dominating number 23. At a meeting of the Chaos Computer Club, Karl gets to know the student David. David and Karl are able to hack into the global data network—which is still, at this point, in its early stages—and their belief in social justice propels them into espionage for the KGB. Driven by contacts with a drug dealer, and by increasing KGB pressure to hack successfully into foreign systems, Karl spirals into a cocaine dependency and grows increasingly alienated from David. In a drug-addled state, Karl begins to sit in front of his computer for days at a time. Perpetually sleepless, he also grows increasingly delusional. When David publicly reveals the espionage activity in which the two men have been engaged, Karl is left alone to face the consequences, collapse soon follows. Karl is taken to a hospital to deal with his drug addiction and mysteriously dies afterward. - Extremely catchy, excellent actors and 1A soundtrack and I urgently recommend you to see movie.
A really watchable German thriller.

R.I.P. Lemmy * 24.12.1945 - † 28.12.2015

And again, the world has lost a very big Rock & Roller, you know it certainly all. On 28 December 2015, four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy died from an "extremely aggressive cancer." I'm sure he would rather collapsed on stage but it went quickly and he have not to torture in some shitty hospital. I was really shocked when I read this morning of his death, I mean, I enjoy listening Motörhead but that's a while ago. I'm sad about it, now drink a couple of beers and say goodbye to a legend, in his lifetime and now more than ever. In this post you will find two 7Inches, the England 7'' plus the Killed By Death 7''. Lemmy was Motörhead, and he was Rock & Roll!!!
