The coldest month in this country knocks and to leave it outside, we heat up the first day with more rarities of the glory years 1977-1985 from across the world. Successful selection again, but it's a shame that the presentation is very sparse. Of course, the lack of money is responsible, but always using the same artwork and just changing the titles is not particularly creative. This could be better as well with little resources in my opinion. Well, I don't wanna complain, but criticizing is allowed. Meanwhile there are #5 and #6 out and will surely follow this year. We can be curious how long the world will continue to supply us with material. Enjoy!

V/A - Bloodstains Across The World #3 2019

I don't know how surprised you were but when I saw this new Bloodstains compilation on ebay I didn't think long after, I gave my bid immediately & won the auction. Unfortunately not as vinyl but as lame unspectacular CD-R in an edition of 100 copies. Anyway, The tracklist is interesting and I know 40% of it whose originals can be found in the blog and the rest is fuckin' new. I would say, has become an excellent result, only drawback for the poor artwork, which is capable of development and must be better. But in the end, it is nice that someone makes the effort to keep this grandiose series alive. Ein neues Produkt aus dem Hause WDM Records und da April ausschließlich Live Postis gewidmet ist wuchs die Idee einer superben compilation mit solchen Aufnahmen die ich hier und da fand oder auf meiner Festplatte schlummerten. Bevorzugt mit Bands die ich teilweise erlebt habe und ich besonders gern auflege. Ich glaube das Ergebnis kann sich hören und sehen lassen und besonders das Artwork alter Eintrittskarten schwirrte mir seit langem im Kopf herum, das hat eine Menge fantastischer Erinnerungen hervor gerufen, schön war's! Ich wünsche Euch jetzt abwechslungsreichen Hörgenuß mit diesem kleinen Rückblick.

    A new product from WDM Records and because April is dedicated to Live posts grew the idea of a superb compilation with recordings that I found here and there or slumbered on my hard disk. Preferably with bands that I have partially experienced and I often put on my turntable. It goes forward now with this sunny compilation by Incognito Records and its a small excerpt of their proud 333 x Up & Down series which features circa 45 EP's and a few of them are waiting somewhere in this theatre. I will quote the exquisite introduction by Barny, the label boss, so you know what medicine you need: "Two years ago we started putting out 7''s, which are limited to 333 handnumbered copies each. No, we're not lazy, but we were sick of the music-business and we wanted to release just good music by cool bands. We didn't look for famous names and didn't give a fuck about "market-chances" or bollocks like that. If we liked a band we put out a record by it. That was it! Of course, we couldn't expect to sell thousands of records by These not too famous upstarts, so we had to limit them. We thought 333 would be a not too bad number.... When the series started we've been surprised about the big publicity in mags and zines. People from all parts of the world wrote letters to us and in due of this big request we're re-releasing the best songs of the first bunch of 7''s now. An important note for CD-haters: this 74 minutes flood has one third more playtime than a LP, but it costs less than one third more than a vinyl-longplayer. Technical developments are not always bad, even not the "anti-punk" CD, if you use it the right way! Anyway: If you still hate silverfishs, go buy the original 7Inches of the 333 x Up & Down series. We're trying hard to feature bands from around the globe and so the '77 style survives us all." Finally, I would like to mention the excellent black and white artwork with lots of infos, pictures and little bedtime stories so that even deafs have their fun.

Pretty awesome tape from Mothra Productions with thirty five bands from around the world with huge tophits. Excellent selection I can only say!, a brilliant Hardcore Punk onslaught pulled by rare 7Inches and other secret sources with nice little info-sheet makes this an excellent stew with hot spices and bite-sized chunks, add a slice of rye bread and beer and it's done... but beware! breaks through well, so don't forget toilet paper.

Once again after a long time a nice tape compilation, the third part of the Sabbel Fanzine series Where The Wild Things Are with fourty punkies from all over the world, lovingly cobbled together and also provided with detailed information as in Part II. Amazing the exotics from Lithuania, Panama, Indonesia, China and Israel, not just countries that would be famous for fast snotty stuff but that's exactly what I like about punk: the versatility, the expression and the way of communicating, music connects us and is immediately understood everywhere. My respect for the one who bothered with this 90 minutes cassette and I hope you enjoy this as I do.
