V/A - Bootprints Across Italy!! 1999

Here's a mixed bag with really good stuff from Italy. This unoffical release came out 1999 on Bootprint and like Killed By Death #77 this compilation includes the complete records from all the bands. Dominant here is a damn good Hardcore/Oi! sound and all these songs were recorded in the 80s and every original is highly coveted by many collectors and I'm always glad if someone takes care and put all such rarities together and make it available again. The invention of the internet is not bad at all isn't it? Essential CD!!!!

V/A - Chaos In Europe 1985

Another wonderful compilation of brilliant Oi!/Punk stuff is this record, released by Chaos Production and it brings a small sample of the punk scene here in Europe of the early 80s. I must confess that it's a long time ago I listen to but it's always a pleasure when I pick this record up again. Today an older rip and it's a Brazilian Bootleg on Gravacoes Alternativas, a solid compilation with two Italian EP's from 1983. Side A is the Skins & Punks=T.N.T. originally released via C.A.S. Records and the B Side is the Milano 1983, originally on STV Prod. - Bologna meets Milan scene I could also say and relevant readers among you are familiar with most of the six bands and I think, it's a good idea to press both EP's on one album because they're so fuckin' rare, came partly on colorful vinyl. Check out the Blog for more stuff from these Bootpunks, I've re-edited some for you. Twenty decent angry anthems for everyone!!

Here we come to a compilation which I couldn't get any info in the World Wide Web. This shows either how rare and old this record is or little attention has been paid so a reason to change this and pay tribute to me, hahaha ..... Ok, this cool vinyl is a label co-production of the german KnockOut and Banda Bonnot Records from Italy and was released in 1996. The A Side comes along with knotless Oi! Street Punk while the B side, mainly Italian bands here, shine with a refreshing ska sound. So my ass can not sit still and I know your ass will go the same way. COMANDO SUICIDA - Al K.O. EP 1987

Top rare record by this Argentine punk band called Comando Suicida, a partial continuation of Los Desalmados, a punk rock band formed 1981, from which came the members Sergio (vocals) and Key (guitar). El Mariskal (who later joined Trixy y los Maniáticos) and Fernán (drums, formerly of the band Alerta Roja) completed the band's lineup. In 1987 came this first vinyl via C.S. Records out with four raw Oi!/Punk classics, including a 4-Skins cover (Chaos) and they were influenced by bands such as Cockney Rejects, Last Resort, Decibelios, the 4-Skins and Nabat. After two compilation tracks on the Invasión 88 record, problems between two of the band's members caused the band to split. In 1998 they became active again and brought more records among the people. Now I have to go to bed.

V/A - Smashed Again!!! [Special] 2013

It's time to post another selfmade compilation which I made for our vacations and it gets me very sad but I think you will like it. Here's the original description from my old Blog: I'm still amazed that Forward Into The Past is yet popular and is still online, shows that you have taste ;). I also think that comp. is well done and a worthy successor was a real challenge. But here it is: again full with rare music from the early punk days mixed with new stuff, punkrock from all over the world. This fantastic Oi!/Punk compilation comes from the German label Street Kid's Records and they released two Volumes of this serie in a limited edtion. The first is called The Bright Side Of Oi! and before you ask, I haven't this LP, maybe someone out there. The tracklist is dazzling and most of the bands/songs are certainly known, mostly published in the 80s. Your ears get here classic Oi! and early punk rock from around the world.
