V/A - H'Artcore 1981

H'Artcore is a compilation that was published by H'Art Records with various punk bands from the Ruhrpott area, where some variables of the local punk scene, such bands as Upright Citizens were present today, others are only here to hear and then fade away. In 1999 the label Teenage Rebel Records has been re-released this record. The name of the compilation is a play on words and refers to the represented music on this album, which was then still referred to punk as it does not use the term 'Deutschpunk'. "The somewhat strange title is derived from the name of the label H'Art in 1981 and still new term Hardcore, which at that time for the harder, faster punk stood here on the sampler (the term German Punk was not in use)." Well, that was back then. A brilliant soundtrack indeed and even nowadays very audible.

FLUCHTVERSUCH - s/t EP 1985

Euthanasie/Anomie Records brought this only record by Fluchtversuch in a limited edition of 1100 pieces out. Founded in Bochum by Linse (vocals), Kühlie & Pinky (guitars), Rolly (drums) and we enjoy four decent, and for the Eighties typical, Deutschpunk hits which are remarkably solidly arranged (who plays bass?). In 1990 the band added a new xeroxed cover to the original one and sold it as a hand numbered limited edition (rest). The band is represented on numerous compilations, mostly released as cassette and after their breakup, some members continued as Bad News. Fazit: chic record with good lyrics.

Zum Abschluß des heutigen Tages präsentiere ich Euch eine weitere self-made Compilation mit rarem deutschen Untergrund der Jahre 1980-1988. Und es ist ein hübsches Werk geworden und mein spezieller Dank geht hierfür wieder an Loni und Reinhard. Den ersten dieser Art Halt Die Ohren Steif kann er zwar nicht toppen doch auch hier wieder zahlreiche Bands vertreten die ich vorher noch nie gehört habe. Ich freue mich stets auf Neues!
