BIZEX-B - Vi Lever! 1982

Bizex-B is a punk band from Gävle that existed between 1980 and 83 and was recreated in 2005. Bizex-B's first gig was made togehter with PF Commando in March 1980 @ Folkets Hus, Gävle. The band was then composed by Zluggo Pop (Larz Gustafsson) on vocals, Mats "London" Colling (bass), Perra (guitar), Jacob "Kådis" Gordin (drums) and guest singer Pelle Olsson. By the end of 1981 the band entered the studio and recorded their first album "Vi Lever!", which was released early in 1982 in a small edition of 300 copies. One year later the second "En Våldtäkt I Vinyl" on Rebel Records and appeared postum after Bizex-B split in spring 1983. In 2005, the band comeback made two quarters of the original release. Zluggo Pop on mic and Perra (guitar). On drums Fritte Jonasson and bass Urrke T. In September 2006, this "new" Bizex-B recorded its third full-length album "Tillbaka Med En Smäll", released 2007. The first two albums were reissued also in 2007 on remastered CD versions by the Imperial Recordings YKFK label. Zluggo jumped off the band in early 2007 and was replaced by Deep Torkel, known from cult bands like Stoodes and Suzie Beats Them All. The band's last album "Halleluja Jesus Är Din Vän" has been recorded with Deep Torkel in 2009 and 2010 and came out 2012 in a small edition of 100 copies. Present on these compilations.

BIZEX-B - En Våldtäkt I Vinyl 1983

Second album by this four piece from Gävle on Rebel Records, pressed in 300 copies but most of the vanished in a fire, so if you own the original record you have a small treasure. The debut Vi Lever! was astonishingly solid and these seventeen songs spray refreshingly out of the speakers so that the band decided to split up before the release. Bizex-B was formed 1980 inspired by the punk revolution, they immediately caught attention to the local scene. The bandname was never intended as any kind of sexual statement. "Bizex" was just a joke that made fun of the traditional Swedish "dansband" Wizex (very bland & popular). "B" stood for "bössa", the local slang for playing fast or having a ball (or both). Bizex-B was, by all standards, exceptional and an unforgottable experience. Punk poetry in motion and good, clean fun. The world has rarely seen anything as radical. All songs here were recorded nonstop at a chaotic session that lasted only eight hours before producer and recording engineer called the session to a halt. One of the members of the band reputedly was so drunk that he, still today, hardly remembers the recordings at all... In 2007 the band came back together, played some gigs, mainly in the Gävle region, and released two more records.

Excellent compilation from the early days of Swedish punk, this two record set offers bands that existed outside of Stockholm and Gothenburg. Forty-six rare goodies here in total, with bands that predominantly at home in classic '77 punkrock with light powerpop and wave impacts, in almost throughout excellent recording quality. Here you can immerse yourself in the exciting early days, and who in addition understands Swedish can read to each band in a short summary lots of infos. Yes, this record rule and is a fuckin' document of extreme rare, wild, rough and lost Swedish punk nuggets. Every song a classic and if you can't move your ass to this sound go and listen to Heino & friends. Like Volume 1 in a limited edition of 500 copies thrown into the world and not easy to get. I have a very good exemplar and the crackers are from the original 7Inches, within all infos and with thirty-three minutes playin' time much too short. Lovely Unbearable!
