Not really new but always worth a post is the only EP by the Manic Depressives from New Orleans who conjured up this three track killer EP on Vinyl Solution Records, the label of L The P. They existed from 1979-1981 and line-up was Mandeville Mike (vocals), Mike C (guitars), L The P (bass), Charlie (drums) and alongside the 7inch they were on the No Questions, No Answers Compilation (1980) with two more goodies and this sucker seems pretty rare, if anyone has it I'd appreciate a decent rip. Three melodic mid-tempo numbers on this dittie and each one a delight. When the Depressives ended, Larry formed the similar sounding 0:30 Second Flash with another group of friends. They recorded a four song EP and played live a few times, but they were over even faster than the Manic Depressives, all tracks of both bands were then released as a mini-album on Rerun Records in 2011. They were also honored by Back To Front Vol.3 with an invitation. Enjoy!
