ARYAN DISGRACE - Faggot In The Family 7'' 1983

The next interesting slab on this Tuesday evening brought us Mystic Records and is far and away the most collectable release on the label. Aryan Disgrace was a short-lived Los Angeles combo with six members and they made a splash with their only 7Inch. The most disgraceful aspect of this record is indeed its lyrics which are very provocative. The song is about a guy who keeps his homosexuality a secret from his family and thus gets into trouble, while the flip is about extraordinary S&M enjoyment. Musically two decent short tracks and in 1983 a censored version came afterwards with different lyrics, and of course it's debatable whether there's any point in singing about such topics. But there are no taboos in Punkrock I guess, and I wouldn't call the band homophobic or worse and take them not too seriously, it's a rare record and very much sought after by collectors these days and on relevant Compilations as well.

- Great Thx to Nolti -

  3. Here are the lyrics:
    (One-two-three-four)

There's a faggot in the family
I don't know what to do
There's a faggot in the family
He's not like me and you

There's a faggot in the family
I don't know what to do
    Said couldn't find a pussy
    And what did he do?

Came home late night about twelve o' clock
Went into the bedroom without a knock
    What did I see?
    He was sucking someone's cock
    Oh my God

There's a faggot in the family
I don't know what to do
There's a faggot in the family
He's not like me and you
There's a faggot in the family
    If Grandma only knew

(Faggot in the family) Faggot in the family
    (Homosexuality) Homosexuality

Wow man, how еmbarrassing. What would my friends say?

    ++++++++++++++++++++

    (One-two-three-four!)

    I was a peeping Tom
I peeked in on Dad and Mom
    Scratch marks on my back
    'Cause we borrowed Mommy's rack

    Teenage S&M
    Teenage S&M

Now that rack, it sure does shine
'Cause it's from Hollywood and Vine
    Whenever Mom and Pop's away
Me and Sally get to play

    Teenage S&M
    Teenage S&M

Whips and chains for pain and pleasure
I sure do love the old man's treasures
I've got teeth marks on my stem
    'Cause I love Teenage S&M

    Teenage S&M
    Teenage S&M

C'mon, baby, give it to me
I love it, can't you see, you'll give it to me
You're making me weak, I can't еven speak
C'mon, give it to mе one more time

    Teenage S&M
    Teenage S&M

  4. I wouldn't call the Band not homophob, too. I unserdstand the Text a little different. It's from a sister's or brother's point of view and he or she has a problem with the sexuality of his brother and his thoughts revove about the subject of Homosexuality. The only Negative in this Text is the word Faggot, but to be honest we used the same words in the 80's without consisdering if it hurts Gays. On the Flipside are just the thoughts of a horny boy who lets his fantasies flies. In my Opinion it's similar to the German Band "Die Ärzte" withr their Songs "Geschwisterliebe" (sibling love) and "Claudia hat nen Schäferhund" (Claudia got a German Sheppard..). In both Songs singing about deviant sex practices. O.K the Songs we're released from the age of 18, because " Die Ärzte" skillfully described the sexually processes. The only different between the both Band is, that "Ärzte" were classified aas "Fun Punk" and "aryan Disgrace is a REAL Punk band! I like it - Thank you for the EP
