DER DURSTIGE MANN - Himmel & Hölle 1987

Majestic amateurish punk rock from Frankfurt Der Durstige Mann, everyone knows, everyone loves them. Who does not know a single tone becomes yet 100% a fan. ''Himmel & Hölle'' is by far the oddest album they have produced. It includes a Beatles cover 'Little Child' and has many beautiful short songs and the sound quality had prosaicness charakter. Side 2 consists almost entirely longer pieces. For "Monotons Traum" Mark was recorded thirteen minutes at snoring and the result was backed by wild tone-impressions... ("We needed something to make up for the full plate!") Well, is this avantgarde? The record is pressed in flashy colored vinyl. All together, the publications of Eric († 20.01.2016) and syndicate members are great fun an amount.

MORDBUBEN AG - Bleib Blöd 7'' 1979

Last post for this month and first and foremost I would like you to recommend a new blog called Austrian Underground and let's visit Thomas, say Hallo :)) and join more rare Austrian punk music. So, this early Austrian punk band has been formed in Vienna 1978 and was with the imprisonment of bandleader Fredi Fender a little thrown off course and with multiple interruptions and changing occupations they existed until 1983. As far as I know, the band released a 7'' and one album called 'Angst Vorm Rock'n Roll?' and some sampler contributions. The Mordbuben AG stands for the Viennese dialect sung snotty punk rock songs. Here on it the legendary Beatles cover version plus the aggressive 'Bleib' Blöd'. Both songs are just quite brilliant. Due to the unexpected death of the Mordbuben AG band leader Fredi Fender in April 2010 there was in his memory and for his 60th birthday a memorial concert given in Vienna on 28. May 2010. I think it was very special. - Enjoy this historic little piece of early Vienna KBD stuff.

VILLAGE PISTOLS - Big Money 2000

One 7Inch made these guys on nylon records and both songs are superb, Big Money was immortalized on samplers (Killed By Death # 7) and the b-side is a nice Beatles cover, chic. The Village Pistols was a coming together of hare-brained ideas by several people living in and around Greensboro, North Carolina in the Summer and Fall of 1980 and broke up in 1981. This release is brought for us by the Italian label RaveUp Records and called American Lost Punk Rock Nuggets – Vol.7 with of course the 7inch and ten rough live recordings from October 1980 in Greensboro, cool artwork and extensive liner notes.
