GLI INCESTI - Punk Rock 7'' 1977

Early Italian Punk from Gli Incesti and this is the band's first record on CLS with two rockin' songs. One of the first groups to approach the new British sound was the Milanese duo of Gli Incesti, formed by brothers Leo (who died ten years ago) and Antonella. They released one album called Ecco in 1978 and that's it. Enjoy this blast from the past and have a nice weekend!

EA80 - 20 EP 1989

I say goodbye to the ugliest month of the year with a rarity from my favorite band: EA80. From this little sunshine were 200 copies made for the Birthday of a friend of the band and was then served as a ticket to the Party on 23.December 1989 and was never sold regularly; there are three different artworks, all copies are numbered. 'Twenty' is a typical provocative song that hardly any other combo can write: ass kicking, self-reflective, uncompromising and clear. 'Coming Down' is a tender thoughtful Christmas carol for everyone who didn't stay at home (or don't want to stay at home these days) and 'Dilettanten' was recorded live in the rehearsal room in the distant past (1983?) and is dedicated to all those who have no solution for everything and thus continue to make things worse, Hauptsache es macht Spaß! Innovative and pithy as ever and enjoyable at any time.

AGENT ORANGE - @ The Dive Bar, Las Vegas 26.09.2014

Hmmmm, I hope you enjoy this month with live stuff and for all those who are on Easter holidays I wish carefree relaxation and for us at home as well. Next show shoot us to Las Vegas at the Dive Bar where Agent Orange played on 26.09.2014 a grandiose gig and they are a fantastic live band and one of my favoritesEnergetic surf punk from the very best and I can't understand why since 1996 no further album was recorded. I believe that there are enough ideas, but obviously it is not easy to unite all members for a short time because family and everyday life make it difficult. Well, maybe there's something to follow and as long as they go on tour they stay alive. Enjoy!

MAD - Na Und! 1984

From Lucerne comes this wave/pop/punk combo called M.A.D. which existed in the early 80's. After the release of two solid singles they bring out their only album on MAD Records in 1984. A total of ten melodic punk songs with a light pop wrap, with sometimes critical global texts (nazis, war), serious topics about the page 1 girl in the daily press and personal views on love, death and devil (and I hate getting up early too). An interesting album indeed and they manage the leap between punk and pop (or NDW) with their brilliant ten songs and provide for entertaining pleasant mood. - Forget Your Past... Forget (even if it's hard) - So enjoy this rare classic.

N.O.T.A. - s/t LP 1985

Hot Shit! You thought their past records were great, well here’s nineteen tracks that are rockin’, thrashin’, imaginative, and catchy. The slower songs have a catchy early ’77 Pop-Punk sound, and the thrash just rips. A good mix that shows that NOTA are expanding their boundaries and coming of age as a style to US Hardcore. (Ruth Schwartz, MRR #28 • September 1985) We're talking about N.O.T.A. (None Of The Above) from Tulsa/Oklahoma, a fantastic four piece that has changed its line-up over the years. On this brilliant slab the band consisted of Jeff (vocals/guitar), Russell (guitars), Bruce (bass), Bob (drums) and this is their first album on Rabid Cat Records with nineteen smasher, recorded 1979-1985, and all mercilessly fantastic. During their on-again-off-again existence they released three 7Inches and three full albums. They disbanded in 1987, but reformed in 1993 and finally broke up in 2000. Top record and I have to stop now because I must recovering from a crappy bike crash.

MEGAFOONS - Nooit Meer Fascisme EP 1983

Megafoons are from Utrecht and this is their second EP. I would describe their music as folk/punk or unplugged. Slide violins, slide guitars and bongos are their instruments, they sing in dutch dialect strong political lyrics (I think it goes exclusively against war and its consequences, we all see what's going on in the Middle East. When mankind learns at last from the past?) - Four charming songs coming over. It must be not always fast and aggressive. A very nice one I think.

FLAG OF DEMOCRACY - Down With People 1990

Good Morning Friends and let us start this unknown Tuesday with extreme noises by Flag Of Democracy, a combo from Ambler, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia which formed 1982. This is their third album, in Europe via Bitzcore released with fourteen wild hardcore numbers. A bit wiki info: F.O.D. plays a mixture of melodic punk, frequently with two-part vocal lines, and noisy, dissonant hardcore, often at extreme speeds – many F.O.D. songs push past 200 beats-per-minute. The band never attained commercial success, but enjoys popularity in certain underground circuits, particularly in Europe. You should listen also to their Love Songs EP from 1984 and the band is still active and I'm finished with the fairy tale hour, perfect wake-up music or?
