Founded 1988 in Friedrichshafen by Markus (vocals/bass), Joachim & Torsten (guitars), C.B. Wecker (drums), and Tiny Scars is the interesting debut of the Resistors and they don't just play simple music, they blend a healthy mix of Hardrock, Punk and a bit of metal into a decent sound. I know, I have their 7Inch Your Fascist Mind but can't find this sucker anymore and a rip as well, but that's not tragic because both songs are on this slab. Their songs sometimes reach a span of six minutes and captivate with their solid guitar playing and catchy melodies. They also have a certain personal sharpness in their lyrics and set all this compactly and dynamically and the four like to prove their musical skills in front of an enthusiastic audience. Two more albums followed until 1995, a few Compilation invitations, and since then they have only been on the road sporadically, as time permits. Very good record and I like it, not only short & dirty (I think, the album also caters for this faction) and for all, who would like to discover something 'different'. Tip!

Glad you enjoyed the album! I saw them live back in the day a few times. And like most punk bands, they were a million times better live than in the studio. Too bad they didn't find more success. I strongly recommend them for fans of Misfits, Danzig, Type O Negative, EA80 ... anyone who loves Punk and Goth!

DeleteGeil, die Scheibe such ich schon lange. Resistors waren bei uns im SĂŒden legendĂ€r! Live war das ne gute Mischung aus Samhain und Misfits und viel schneller/punkiger als im Studio! Meine Platte kam damals mit nem Poster. Mich wĂŒrde interessieren, ob das dein eigner Rip/Scan ist, weil ich das Cover mit orangener Schrift noch nie gesehen habe.

Deletene, leider nicht! Meine Platte kam mit Poster u. T-Shirt aber ohne Single! Ich hatte die Single auf ner Kassette (von nem anderen Punker) und die war ehrlich gesagt genial (beide Lieder). WÀr gut gewesen, wenn Subway die Single auf einer Neuauflage von Tiny Scars beigelegt hÀtte. Aber man kann nur trÀumen!
