De Lyckliga Kompisarna often shortened DLK, were a Swedish punk band which were active from 1989-1997 and again since 2008. DLK was one of the bands that formed the "second punk wave" in the 1990s and this is their first album released via Birdnest Records. The driving force in was singer Mart, who over the years also played various instruments nad he formed DLK together with Björn. The name of the band was taken from a book about the cultural life of the Soviet Union: in a text a Soviet band called The Happy Gentlemen. In 1997 DLK finished its first active period with four gigs for three days at Café 44 in Stockholm. In early 2008, the band announced that it would be reunited with Mart, drummer Jouni who played on the band's first two albums, Roger (former guitarist of Total Egon) and Fredrik on guitar and they're still active.
