MOTHER'S RUIN - ...Want More 1981

Formed in early 1978 in Zurich the band released one year later the superb Godzilla 12'' which is in my opinion the best Mother's release. In 1981 follows their first album, released via Off Course Records, which is more pop oriented but that makes ...Want More not bad. In general, Mother's Ruin were one of the most original bands of the swiss scene. In their rural seclusion they were pointed out to make punk, because they had heard that this was the last kick. Their sound, which could develop as completely independent and not influenced by England is largely & melodic and what this album clearly underlines.
