LAUFMASCHE - Hey Du 7'' 1985

Not much info about this Austrian all-girl band, think they were from Vienna and this is their only release on Tonau Records. Two classic Austro-Pop goodies about love etc... The flip has with 'Schöner Fremder Mann' a cover version of Connie Francis' hit from the 60s. Saw this record at ebay and asked of course my Austria connection and as you can see successful. Nice plate from pretty women which musically don't need to hide. Check it out!

- Special Thx to Reinhard -

  1. Laufmasche existed only 2 years from 85'-87' and has a quite interesting line-up:

    - "Süvaal" (voc.) was the second main-voice for the infamous Drahdiwaberl.
    - Keyboardist Claudia was part of one of my favorite austrian punk bands A-Gen 53.
    - Bella-Bella played the e.bass for Mordbuben AG

Though, they released two more Singles on Tonau Records under the name of "Sü-Vaal und die Laufmasche":
    1986 - Ich will einen Mann 7"
    1987 - Wahnsinn/Wahnsinn (instr.) 7"

Again, thank you for this post.
