NE LUUMÄET - Laki Ja Järjestys 1990

Third album by Ne Luumäet on Poko Rekords with eighteen ramopunk songs. Founded in 1985 and they strongly influenced by Ramones and they played a very significant role in the creation of the Finnish ramopunk genre. The band ceased operations in 1993, but returned to the stage in 1999, releasing "Autopartio 525" EP as well as the compilation Rahat Ja Pois. Since then, the band has not recorded any new material. In the 21st century, Ne Luumäet has performed publicly, mainly in charity concerts. However, in the summer of 2007, the band performed at Ruisrock and at the Tavastia Club in honor of Ramone Week named by Heko Luumäki ("Punkrock 30 years old," 30 years old from Ramones' first Finnish concert). In 2011, the band performed twice in Yy-Kaa-Koo-Nee: RAMOPUNK! book publishing events. Among the members of the band Ne Luumäet, guitarist Heko Luumäki has continued to be the most active in punk and ramopunk in the band Rehtorit, which he founded in 1995, where Kaide Luumäki and Finski also played Luumäinen in the early 1995s. In addition to band activities, Heko Luumäki has developed ramopunk events, of which Converse Club, Ramoviisut and Ramones Week are his creations. Joey Luumäki, the singer of the band Ne Luumäet, has composed new material and performed at solo gigs from time to time. V/A - Where The Wild Things Are II 1998

Hallo everybody, I'm fresh again and now 2017 will be opened with an international tape compilation which was a supplement by the Sabbel Fanzine, a German Heftschä and I have the chance to get in touch with the maker personally at the end of the 90s at a gig in Mönchengladbach, when Serene Fall played there and he did an interview with the band and I was also mentioned in the zine because he ask me too and it was a great session, thanks for this! At the beginning there was always a selfmade tape with punk from all over the world within and I have two from that, later was a CD enclosed because it's easier. Here now 90 minutes of cool rare punk compiled in loving artwork and much of what I did not know at that time and maybe even today hardly anyone knows.

NE LUUMÄET - Motelli 12'' 1990

It's got damn frosty and I'm afraid a long winter is ahead. It takes refreshing sounds to lift my mood and it comes from Helsinki today with Ne Luumäet, who has already appeared in the blog. Known for their ramonesque sound, on this 12'' is a song with Motelli taken from the Laki Ja Järjestys album and the flip shines with two goodies which were recorded live @ Tavastia Club 25.October 1990. You can't go wrong with such great role models. By the way, the cover adorns a well-known hotel that wrote film history, you all know it.
