F.F.F. - Electric Violin Trash 1989

F.F.F. (short for Frieden, Feiän, Ficken) was a punk rock band from Bonn, founded in November 1983. The first appearance was on 18 February 1984, at a hippie party and ended with the fact that the longhairs grabbed their instruments and playing never-ending droning solis and improvisations and solos.... The first record came then in 1986 and has fout brilliant punk tunes and was limited to 1000 copies, called 'Arbeit Macht Dumm'. The sound is pretty hard and very direct and devastating out from the speakers. Most striking is certainly the violin. It's damn cool to hear in a noisy sound a violin and it's really crashing! Just to burst. There are more concerts to go and F.F.F. was now really there! They played several times in Italy (and elsewhere) and were good friends of UPSIDE, a combo from Milan. "Electric Violin Thrash" was then released in 1989 on Hyperactive Records. On 19th Februray 1994 shows the bands last appearance in Bonn at the BLA.

V/A - Beethovens Rache 1988

Bonn was the capital city of Germany a few years ago and it was time for a compilation with bands from Bonn and the label 'Bönnsche Ton' finally released it in 1988 (Another release have a green cover) and it has become a true gem. Eight bands in total and each song is a hit. FFF, Molotow Soda (Ex-Canal Terror), Rabatz to name a few are on it and some material is nowadays unreleased and thus rare. Today it's very difficult to get a copy and my vinyl here I have acquired at a record fair for a lot of money. Beethoven's Revenge is a solid German Punk sampler which can be proud of and my appreciation to the creators, nice artwork, detailed booklet, all included: Big One! In 2002 is one more record called 'Beethovens Alptraum' released with more stuff from the Bonn Punk scene. Long live Ludwig Van...

V/A - Chaos In Europe 1985

Another wonderful compilation of brilliant Oi!/Punk stuff is this record, released by Chaos Production and it brings a small sample of the punk scene here in Europe of the early 80s. I must confess that it's a long time ago I listen to but it's always a pleasure when I pick this record up again. Here's a review that says all: "Despite a well-drawn but obnoxious macho cover with blatant evocations of violence, the third Chaos Production compilation proves to be another very strong release. This one has band from all over Europe on if, thereby extending its range and variety. Herein one can find the standard French-style skunk (KOMINTERN SECT, REICH ORGASM, L'ENFANTS SAUVAGES, and Spain's DECIBELIOS), catchy pop punk (AL KAPOTT, DREI ORLOK, Spain's T.N.T., Holland's NV LE ANDEREN, and a killer cut from Sweden's ASTA KASK) pure Oi (BRUTAL COMBAT and Italy's NABAT), and all sorts of punk (KAMBRONES, Germany's F.F.F. and NEUROTIC ARSEHOLES, and Sweden's SLAM). Highly Recommended." - Jeff Bale (from Maximum Rocknroll #27, August 1985) - Nothin' to add, so let's start the download and open a beer meanwhile.

V/A - This Is My Life - Not Yours! EP 1988

This litte dittie comes via Recordrom Records in a limited edition of 1000 copies and all bands have a female voice at the micro. Our life will be opened with P.M.A., a combo from Brunswick, they made only a few compilation tracks in the late 80's and here are two under one minute blasts, Dan was formed in Darlington 1983 and released five albums, here with a nice live number, FFF from Bonn are the only band with a violin I know and they made a great album plus an EP, cool stuff, Anarcho punks Potential Threat from Blackburn in the usual political manner with an excellent smasher and finally the Hardcore combo Alptraum GMBH from Wuppertal with a pretty mid-tempo end. Klein aber Oho!

1.Act Positive - P.M.A.
2.Deepest Blue (Live) - DAN
3.Mit 18 Jahren - F.F.F.
4.Blood Money - POTENTIAL THREAT
5.Hey Boy - P.M.A.
6.Das Böse Erwachen - ALPTRAUM GMBH

- Great Thx to Donot -
