Well, the day before yesterday I was asked about these two EP's and I said no, and today I can post them here and who made this possible you can see below, so thank the donor. A bit Info to Volume 1 from inside: "George Formby once sang, suggestively, about his 'little stick of Blackpool Rock'... then.... nothing, until John Robb sorted out this EP of Bands from Blackpool. Naturally featuring The Membranes, with their best ever tune in all its DIY glory, and the most famous doomy dance band from Lancashires premier seaside resort, Section 25....being suitably 'Doomy'. The other two groups are yer standard New Wave power pop combos of which there were several in any UK town, village or linear settlement that you'd care to mention." The 2nd one starts with Sign Language and it's one more great song, check their 12Inch. Love 30 come with a sluggish instrumental which is rather unspectacular, driving and with a dominant creaky guitar. Fifth Column sounds a bit muddled with charming electronic beeps and last but not least, Crack House, who bring the Jesus fairy tale closer to you non-believers with pounding rhythms.
