On the road since 1982 and still not tired, Alien Sex Fiend from London signed to the Cherry Red sub-label Anagram Records and releasing their first single 1983 and this nice Compilation features all 7Inches until 1995, and there are quite a few. But let me say this: You won't find all twenty-three songs in this file. The reason for this is, I prefer an audio CD and I can't get used with different mixes of a song either, I find it pointless. So there are fifteen songs left and I don't think more is needed and this selection definitely reflects the band's musical potential. Sounds that doesn't fit into any category and still evoke crazy vibes in me. Fazit: A good start for all newcomers, an entertaining listening pleasure for all connoisseurs! 👍

ALIEN SEX FIEND - Liquid Head In Tokyo 1985
The following band is also with me since the mid-80s and is unique in its field in my opinion and the music of Alien Sex Fiend is sonorous dark, electronic industrial-leaning sound, heavy samples and manic vocals. Formed in London 1982 by Nik Fiend (vocals), Mrs. Fiend (synth/vocals), Yaxi (guitars) and Johnny (drums). After a demo (self-titled) they signed to the Cherry Red sub-label Anagram Records and releasing their first single Ignore The Machine in August 1983. The success was surprisingly good and from then on the band went up and to date were thirteen albums released. The Japanese fans made them very popular in their country and as a small gratitude, the first Alien Sex Fiend live album should be recorded there. And that's it now: Live @ the Tsubaki House in Tokyo from two performances and it's a mixture of material from both shows on January 17th 1985 at the end of a sell out Japanese tour, and that this was the right decision shows this fantastic slab unmistakable with the raw vigorous versions of their classics. One deficit: only eight songs, but they kick the dust out of you (I hope so afterwards in Dortmund as well), I promise.

ALIEN SEX FIEND - Who's Been Sleeping In My Brain? 1983
We stay in the UK and visit Anagram Records and pick up the first Alien Sex Fiend album and they made music without a real bass guitar and they do it fuckin' cool. Yaxi (guitars), Mrs. Fiend (synths), Johnnie (drums) and Nik Fiend (vocals) fuck your brain with ten intoxicating songs and we can hear theit first recordings which are a bit rough and punky and far away from the other upcoming album. Ten goodies here with two single outputs and in this theatre are more to find in form of the I Walk The Line 12'' which was released in 1986. Saw them in the 90's in the legendary Batschkapp and these people are strange and impressively.

TROMATISM - Je Ne Veux Plus Avoir Mal EP 1994
The only 7Inch by Tromatism, a French anarcho-punk group . The group was formed by Loran (ex Ze6 + Bérurier Noir) and Violette. They combine acerbic lyrics (against homophobia, the attitude of England against the Irish republicans, machismo, legalize drugs, rape... and we listen to four offensive tracks with large reinforcements of electric guitars on the bottom of a drum machine, where are added various instruments like a violin, a didgeridoo or a flute and I find they have the spirit of Alien Sex Fiend in their sound but far more angry and brachial. Their concerts were complemented by wild performances, mixing fire, water, mud, masks and tribal accessories. Six years later the English label Active Distribution released their album Une Saison En Enfer with fourteen classics, Tromatism split in 1999. Now enjoy finest electropunk with a glass of Chardonnay.

THE BATS - Phantasmes EP 1984
Before I leave home one last rare record by The Bats, a French three piece from Nancy consisting of Kija, Le Rat and Miss BR, released via SRC. They bless us three synthpunk tunes with a guitar sound that inevitably reminds me of Alien Sex Fiend what I like very much, of course not so heavy but nice. The record is published in two different covers and I doubt that anyone of you has heard this one, me too. Don't know who sent this but that is not important, the songs are cool and Phantasmes is more than just a branch in the punk tribal tree.

ALIEN SEX FIEND - I Walk The Line 12'' 1986
Last week I listen to my favourite Electronic music combo Alien Sex Fiend and I note that I have not digitized a platte and I own five. I change this of course and the start makes this nice 12'' from 1986. Since 1982 the constant members Nik Fiend (Nik Wade) and Mrs. Fiend (Christine Wade) are active and shoot finest Electro Punk out with some excellent lyrics, slightly schizophrenic and morbid, but always driving positive beats (the press called this Deathrock). The band is well known in the gothic scene for its dark, electronic industrial-leaning sound, heavy samples, loops, dub remixes. First record 'Who's Been Sleeping In My Brain' (1983) was released by Anagram and is in my opinion a solid punk record with the great 'Ignore The Machine' which was released as 7/12''. Success came, followed by eleven albums and 1997 I saw them live in the Batschkapp, terrific! - now dug up again.

V/A - Fuck X-Mas Compilation 2014
Finally fuckin' X-Mas is here again and I post this selfmade compilation which I did in 2010 with lot's of beer. Originally I wanted no X-Mas things post but a few records are but worth hearin' and let's see what comes in the next 2 days. Start & listen to rare material from 1978 - till now, a couple of live tracks and I can promise you there's no X-Mas song on it. Again cobbled together from many things that I download sometime & somewhere in the whole wide blog-world. Each song is a cracker, and it comes with a lovely artwork, so you can attached this compilation beneath the christmas tree. Have fun with it and it would be nice if you would leave a positive or negative feedback in the comment section.
