Fourth album by the Boxhamsters, which was accompanied by a 7Inch that isn't included in this file - it will come later, I can't find it right now. The four have been considered for years to be the epitome of authentic German Punkrock music, biting, cynical and accusatory. The sound seems a bit thin compared to the previous album, but maybe I'm just hard of hearing. Anyway, Prinz Albert is another excellent record, and every song is a cracker, emotional and thought-provoking. That's the great thing about bands like them, they never made a bad album; I don't have to write much because I'm a lousy reviewer... just listen and immerse yourself in.

No, no, my friend you aren't a lousy reviewer. Exact that is the point why I follow your excellent blog...and sometimes less words say more --- thank you very much for the great BOXHAMSTERS,
ReplyDeleteand THE PAGANS, NOISE ANNOYS, BLUT+EISEN, THE WOMBLES, THE DICKS, THE NERVES, GREG SAGE and so much more you'd reminded on...

DeleteI already had Pagans, Greg Sage/Wipers, Dicks/anything with Gary Floyd, and Nerves/Paul Collins, but you've introduced this follower to tons o' goodies, and I like your idiosyncratic reviews.
