ADS & CITY-X - BZ-Støttesingle EP 1982

Let's put Denmark on the map and before I say anything about the music, a short info about this record from discogs: "This is the original support single for the Danish activist movement BZ and was released 1982, the same year that the now evicted Ungdomshuset (the Youth House) at Jagtvej 69 was given to the young activists of Copenhagen called the BZ-Brigade (BZ-Bevægelsen in Danish), and was initiated by Musikpress and released in coorporation with the Danish independent record company "Irmgardz..." on BZ-Records." About the bands: ADS (Another Destructive System) from Copenhagen were active from 1980 - 1984 and didn't manage to release any of their own records during this time, which is a shame because their contribution on this little 7Inch isn't bad, and they were later featured on a few Compilations, but only with this song that can be heard here, with the exception of the Nosferatu Festival Compi from 1982. Fine rhythm, solid recording, vocals also okay, maybe a bit too long but it doesn't do much harm. Three piece City-X were a little more active, two 7Inches and one album are part of their discography, and of course also Compilation contributions. They really kick with two numbers and the last song is my personal winner, fast and uncompromising, I love this kind of shit.
