Bosten based three piece New Models were active in the mid Eighties and released four 7Inches and the band consisted of Casey (vocals/guitars), Steven (synth/vocals), Michael (drums) and this is the first record on Modern Method Records. The New Models caught their first big break when they attracted the attention of the Cars’ David Robinson, who asked them to open for the Cars at their 1980 Boston Garden concert. This single is absolutely worth listening to, the title song is a five-minute piece with an excellent stomping rhythm, good rocking guitar and the synthesizer beeps subtly at regular intervals, perfect timing. The flip goes more shorter (only three minutes long) and shines with a faster catchy beat and leaves you alone again with a feeling of well-being, decent slab in every way!
