Funeral Service was a five piece from Reims that initially did mostly covers and consisted of T. Wippler (vocals), D. Doche & A. Proust (guitars), M. Kaltenbach (bass), L. Hesnault (drums). Pills is their only vinyl and was released via Black Cat Fun and is a decent garagepunk number with catchy melodies and swinging rhythm. I think, they would also feel at home with a place on the relevant compilations (you know which ones I mean) just a pity that no one discovered them. The flip is a nice cover version of the Undertones classic Teenage Kicks. All in all a decent record, fresh tunes and I can listen to it anytime. - And in three hours I'll see what the SGE is doing in the second round of the DFB Cup.
