INFERNO - Hibakusha 1985

Hibakusha is the second full length by Inferno from Augsburg/Bavaria on Rise & Fall Productions. Same line-up, Howie (vocals), Archi (guitars), Zong (bass), Max (drums), as on their legendary debut Tod & Wahnsinn and they recorded this bloody sucker in summer 1985 at the legendary Music Lab Studios in Berlin. Fourteen brute & powerful songs which at the time couldn't be surpassed in terms of power. In the land of the rising sun, the Japanese term Hibakusha is mostly used in connection with the victims of the atomic bombing of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and was already set as the album title before the recordings were made. This record is more sophisticated and complex in terms of sound, the high-speed sound gave way to a heavy rock sound at times, which still overwhelmed the punx, because Inferno were the only ones with extreme speeds at the time experimented and with this extravagant style the four were way ahead of the timesA mature development with partly personal and political texts that were worked out seriously, bitingly and ironically. 2018 re-issued by Power It Up Records in partially limited colored vinyl. In 1990 the band dissolved. - German Hardcore Nugget!
