Over the Arctic Ocean to the volcanic island of Europe and the lovely elves present us Orð Öskursins, the rare debut 12Inch by Sogblettir, a four piece from Reykjavík, which came out in an edition of 500 copies before Christmas 1987. The songs were recorded in spring 1987 by Jón (vocals), Arnar (guitars), Ari (bass), Gunnar (drums) and released via Smekkleysa. One year later came their last mini-album Fyrsti Kossinn (nowadays at horrendous prices available) with six goodies to the surface and after that was Finito. Musically, we meet the typical heavy, cloudy, wild sound of the opposites of fire and ice which the Northmen pack brilliant in three songs... a great appearance!
