VIOLATORS - The No Future Years 1994

Formed 1979 in Chapel-En-Le-Firth/New Mills, Derbyshire, the Violators were vocalist Sean 'Cess' Stiles, bassist John 'Matchi' Marchington (both formerly of The Dismal Sports). The band's line-up later added Helen Hill on vocals, Mark Coley on guitar, and Anthony 'Ajax' Hall on drums and they released four 7Inches and this nice compilation contains everything what the band released during their time on No Future Records. In 1983 the band split but reformed many years later and in 2018 issued a new EP, Tied To The Tracks on Violated Records. I first noticed them from numerous compilations and their anarcho streetpunk sound thrills me today as well as then. Get it or miss it!
