COMMANDO 9MM - Commando 1990

Before football starts a visit a short visit to the Iberian peninsula. Their third album, simply titled Commando, was recorded in 1989 and come out at independent label called Tirana, owned by band manager Pito. In 1990, the CBS label was interested and published the same year the album with terrible consequences for the group, as Sony bought CBS and restructured the entire business, discarding everything that they were not interested. This album is currently out of print and very hard to find (discogs/ebay more than €140,-!!!!), because the record had a bad distribution. This fact and cause internal disagreements the band first split in 1991. This shows once more that the major labels are only profit oriented and thus the artist into a corner. Fuck Them!!! But apart from these asses Commando 9MM have ignited with their third longplayer another atomic bomb. Already their debut Amor Frenopatico from 1986 lit at first time, tiptop melodic mid-tempo punk rock as I like and always listen in my car... wonderfully soothing. As well here appear eleven more pearls in this direction which I like almost better. The sound is better by miles and the goodies sound more mature. 'Camino Hacia La Ruina', 'Annie, Annie', 'Cuidado Con Los Lunes' or 'Chica Medicinal', 'Mi Amigo Jack' are songs for eternity and while I write these lines the record goes through for the third time. 100% addictive, honest! If this music's not infect you, you are definitely disturbed. Would be interested what you think. Salut!
