RATTLERS - Mä Oon Sun 7'' 1980

The Network of Friends works perfectly and I can present another nugget from the Wanted List. Rattlers from Raisio came fifth in Finnish rock championship competition in 1980. The band had been formed as early as 1976, but at that time it was known as Tigers (!). The lineup was Rinko (aka Rauno Ruonala): vocals, Mike (aka Mika Jokinen): guitar, Jaska Mäntylä: drums and Jouni Salovaara: bass. Two delicious songs, not in the style of the great Ramones, the Rattlers make their own thing. Beautiful mid-tempo punk with quirky guitar sound, a loud shouter and a solid production (just right for lunch). But first, in launderette, get my laundry.
