Tonight a combo with my initials and I'll tell you right away, they weren't my namesake. W.D.M. (World Disarmament Movement) was a five piece from Jakobstad and consisted of Snoro (vocals), Jani (guitars), Jari (bass), Kaitsu (drums), Rape (synth) and they made three 7Inches in their short lifespan and this is the second, I think, and a lot of Compi contributions (check the blog for this) were also managed. Well, when music from the north of Europe is mentioned, it is usually intense and uncompromising. That's exactly what this little record offers us, with its seven or eight fast-paced chocolate pieces and if you can spend fifteen minutes of your valuable time, use it and enjoy the loud, dirty sound of W.D.M. that rumbles like the thunderstorm above me. A review: Containing all the good characteristics of Finnish hardcore, this young band is coming into its own. Powerful and tight, this release has fine production that accentuates their wild vocals with neat echoes and underscores the fine guitar work. Excellent, with both thrash and slower tunes. (Tim Yohannan, MRR #26 • July 1985) and if that's not enough, you have to hear it!

INGRON HUTLÖS - Necrophilian Hits EP 1984
Ingron Hutlös were a short lived four piece from Karlshamn and consisted of Gill (vocals/guitar), Janne (guitar/vocals), Jonte (bass), Micke (drums) and this is their only self-released 7Inch with four trashy numbers. Info: "When the band Ingron Hutlös was formed in the spring of 1982, the members were in eighth and ninth grade respectively. Like most in Karlshamn, the Rockslaget association and their gigs had a great impact on the teenagers. None of the members had played before, so who would play what was less important. They slowly started jamming, or what to call the noise that arose when the members fumbled around on their instruments. But soon they came up with a song with the appropriate name “Ge Upp!” Something they definitely didn’t intend to do after creating this musical masterpiece.
After some time in the garage at drummer Micke’s parents’ house, they moved down to the basement at Musikforum where they had access to equipment and avoided angry neighbors who didn’t understand the music that Ingron Hutlös created. Through Musikforum they also got the opportunity to be on stage in front of a live audience. As the third band out before the hard rockers Parasite and the visiting Gothenburg band Viva, Ingron Hutlös made their debut. You might think it was strange that the band chose Musikforum instead of Rockslaget, but Rockslaget was largely driven by the zealot Kheiwe Axelsson, and when he passed away, the air went out of the association. At Musikforum, Ingron Hutlös were seen as a bit of an oddball, but were appreciated by the older and more educated/progressive musicians for their “youthful” drive and energy. Musically, they embraced American Hardcore instead of British raw Punk. The band was even accused by other Punks of playing too fast and too loud.
In 1983, they decided to record a few songs on a demo, these recordings later ended up on various Compilations and cassettes. The following year, it was time for their debut album. An EP that was actually supposed to be shared with Arroganta Agitatorer ended up being their own EP “Necrophilin Hits”. It can also be mentioned that when Sound Pollution did a second pressing of the EP and sent some copies of the album together with Mob 47's "Nuclear Attack" to the big country in the west, the package was stopped at American customs because of the cover of Ingron's EP. So neither Ingron Hutlös nor Mob 47 made it to the American distributor.
After the recording of the EP, Janne disappeared to Australia for a year. Manfred Dornhäuser from Nyx Negativ was his replacement. They continued to play out at home in Karlshamn and in other places in southern Sweden. They also recorded what became the band's last demo. When Janne returned, the band briefly became a quintet before going their separate ways due to different musical visions. The last gig was with D.O.A. - Patrik Gill then joined Marie Celeste, Manfred withdrew and the others continued under the name Sonic Love." (source: punktjafs) In 2024, a Compilation called Flogging A Dead Corpse was released on PukeNVomit Records, featuring the EP and demos from 1983 and 1985.

V/A - Earth Rapers & Hell Raisers 2x7'' 1989
We stay fast and loud and come to this double 7inch on Hippycore Records with mostly American bands that are rather unknown to me (except Samiam whose song is almost out of place I think) but somehow and where all of them made a 7inch or even a record. It's a Benefit release for Phoenix Earth First!, I can't say exactly what it is or was but it doesn't matter, the song selection is consistently cool and sharp. A healthy mix I would say, Hardcore with a bit of metal influence and solid like a good friend who won't let you down, a second release followed in the same year on green vinyl with different colored cover. That was the weekend on wdthtc and let's see what's coming up next week, apart from a dentist appointment at 7:00 in the morning, I'm already looking forward to that....
1.Technology (The Evil) - SINS OF THE FLESH
2.Intellectual Hypocrites - BENT!
3.Nuclear Delicacies - JESTERS OF CHAOS
4.Graveyard At Sea - PISSED HAPPY CHILDREN
5.Hold My Breath - REALITY CONTROL
6.Gender Slavery - CONSPIRACY OF EQUALS
7.Blind Man's Holiday - MACHINE
8.Insightful - SAMIAM
9.Fuck, Kill, Destroy - PLEASANT VALLEY CHILDREN
10.Kenny's Song - POLLUTION CIRCUS
11.Earth First! - SEEIN' RED
12.Christian Crack Diary - CHRIST ON A CRUTCH
7 SECONDS - Committed For Life EP 1983
I guess I don't have to tell everyone who the 7 Seconds are. They've released a lot of vinyl, and anyone who likes straightforward, fast Hardcore definitely couldn't ignore this band from Reno. This is their second EP on Squirtdown Records with seven blasts. A review by MMR describes the package in a few words: Another superb 7 Seconds release. This new EP highlights all of their traditional qualities - raging thrash music, great tunes, intelligent and inspirational lyrics (more personally-oriented this time around) - and adds more guitar power, some new musical twists, and improved production. There’s a very noticeable Minor Threat influence in the vocal phrasing, but this is still Skeeno hardcore at its finest. (Jeff Bale, MRR #7 • July/August 1983) I can't add anything to that, except one thing: if you need to clear your head or if some shit is bothering you, put this record on and your mood will improve immensely. And now I'll see what the day brings, the sun is shining and I need some fresh air.

UGLY SHADOWS - Demo 2014
These are the first three demo tracks by this underrated female fronted anarcho dark Post-Punkers Ugly Shadows from Istanbul and it's a real pity that they only lasted three years. Well, I think it's not easy to reach many people or labels when you have to scrape together every fucking penny yourself to even release a piece of vinyl. So digital files are okay for that but doesn’t feel the same I think. Well, before such interesting bands are forgotten, it is necessary to introduce them in blogs and do a bit of advertising. In case of Ugly Shadows it is unfortunately too late since they no longer existed but take a look and discover something new, you can also find their s/t EP in this theater. One thing is certain: you'll have three cool songs to listen to, and I'll now say goodbye and focus on the Bundesliga, it's finally starting today!
MAGIC SPLATTERS - s/t EP 1994
Oh shame on me for not posting about this brilliant band from Frankfurt/Main yet, eieieieieieieiei. The Magic Splatters were active in the Nineties and consisted of Sven (vocals/sax), Ralvieh (guitars), Eaglebauer (bass) and Oskar (drums). They made three 7Inches and one album, and by the end of the same decade, the band had disbanded. I've seen them live a few times, but for the life of me, I can't remember but that's entirely due to my poor memory. They made an excellent sound of the eternal '77 Punkrock, and back then, they built a real fan base in the Rhine-Main area as a party band. I've read their name on numerous flyers that time and if you hear their music, you'll know why. Lyrically, as befits a band from Frankfurt, it's clear and straight into your face without any confusion, that's why I love this city so much and enjoy living at this fucking place. Do yourself a favor and listen to the foursome while enjoying a cold beer. Cheers!

SLOBOBANS UNDERGÅNG - Ett Annat Liv 7'' 2023
Friends, the last few days and weeks have been extremely exhausting, and on top of that, I had a really terrible summer flu. At times, I didn't know what to think, and my emotions were just as up and down. And you wouldn't believe how much weight I've lost; I almost look like a Zombie, but important decisions and changes take their toll, and I'm really glad I can leave this country for ten days soon. Today I feel able to be active here again and a 'new' 7inch from Gothenburg's Slobobans Undergång will delight you. The band is on the road since the late Seventies and released a couple of excellent 7Inches plus a split album with Rövarna in the 1980s. There are two powerful songs to hear and the guys still sound refreshing and carefree. Some bands can still write good songs after many years and therefore remain important.
- Great Thx to Fredrik -

THE DARVOCETS - Do The Crop Circle EP 1996
We're continuing with a bit of not-too-serious music, and the theme here is the extraterrestrial and our veiled world, I'd say. But let me first say thx for all your kind comments on the previous sampler. It's not just only for me, but for you too, and I hope it helps and lets you move on. I've made my decision and I feel soooooo fucking good. Now to the post. From the Cleveland area came this quartet called the Darvocets and the band consisted of Larry (vocals), Paul (guitar), Chris (bass), Bobby (drums) and I have to say their first EP (Non-Commercial Records) is fucking cool. Damn, just got the message Circle Jerks playing tonight, I have to go.

V/A - Happy Birthday, You Sweet Liar! 2025
I guess every one of you, dear followers, has experienced this. You think you know someone well, a lover, a friend, or some other confidant, and then one day everything changes. You are lied to for no reason by this person. And you clearly know it's a lie. Of course, this hurts immensely, and you ask yourself what the reason was? Self-protection, fear of consequences/conflicts, or social conformity/reputation in society? Or do people lie to get rid of someone, to throw away baggage... I don't know. In any case, you are left with ambivalence and have to make a decision whether you want to tolerate this person in your environment any longer or not even look at them again. They always say everyone deserves a second chance, but if you feel like you're being treated disrespectfully and the other person doesn't care at all, well, I'm for a cut, and a breakup is the logical consequence. There are certainly many views, thoughts, and opinions on this, so I came up with the idea of channeling my anger and dismay into music, and this Compilation is meant to help, or at least for the time being. Of course, you can always fall flat on your face, nothing is guaranteed, but when you're 100% being screwed, there's only one option left and I'm tired of crying after such ignorant people. Especially when they say of themselves, "I hate liars". - You see, they have no self-respect, they deceiving their selfs. Anyway, I'll think twice about who I'll give the next bouquet of roses.
Take Care!

TURBONEGRO - Vaya Con Satan EP 1991
One of the early, rough singles by Turbonegro, released via Sympathy For The Record Industry, first issued on black vinyl, as well as several colors of marbled vinyl. Later issued on black vinyl with different labels. "Life is a sexually transmitted disease, for which the only known vaccine is death" says a vocoded voice as an intro to this three-track scathing track. Vaya Con Satan is one of the band's first EPs, released before the first album, a true organ of resistance throughout the Nineties, distilling music that many considered retro, especially compared to other underground American labels... Turbonegro, already on this single, only makes Rock'N'Roll. Soaked, made up, certainly, without forgetting the hormone injections stamped Bad Brains. It's wild, freshly uncapped and it's loud, even queer, the drums resonate as if they were recorded in the cold room of a semi-trailer going 200 on the highway... Turbonegro seems to be taking over from Motörhead so much that you wonder why they didn't call themselves Turbonëgro. Without having invented the thimble, they remain a sure bet when it comes to getting hairy guys, keupons and hardcore fans to agree on the same bad vibe.
